We got this for 60 euro for two people B&B. That's a good deal. Plus 10.50 for overnight parking. They are on bus lines to the city centre, near the DART train, Aviva (Lansdown Road) stadium, the RDS and just across the road from the embassy of the USA. They have a bar and restaurant, and a good choice for... More

Spent two nights at the ballsbridge inn recently. I'd give the hotel an average rating: Pro's: Got a good rate for the hotel (found it cheaper on hotels.com than directly from hotel) Close to the RDS and Aviva and also walking distance of town (provided it's not raining). In a nice part of dublin Fairly clean Cons: The hotel is... More

I stayed here for Nom Con 2011 (an Anime Convention), Which was on in August. The reason why I delayed to post was I only knew of TA recently and decided to post here warning people to stay as far away as possible! Check in was fine, woman on the desk was a bit cold and unfriendly. The room was... More

I booked this hotel for the 27th of September through booking.com. I received confirmation of the booking for the Ballsbridge Inn via email, however on the morning I was due to book in I rang the hotel to confirm that there would be a travel cot and was notified that my booking had changed and I was now booked into... No complaints. Self & young son were quickly & courteously checked in. Staff were great. Room clean albeit a little dated. Food fine albeit a tad on the pricy side. Gripes are minimal - the fact that I will return again speaks louder than anythig I can say. More

We were staying at the hotel as part of a large group. Check-in was a bit of an ordeal - seemingly a new member of staff, who was not familiar with the process and therefore what should have taken a few minutes took about 15. In the end I had to ask another member of staff to help sort things... More

We had a long weekend at the D4 Ballsbridge, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We upgraded for e10 per night, but the bigger room was worth the money! It was huge - the bed was two divns fastened together, but it was very comfortable! Lovely fresh bedding and plenty of pillows, lots of furniture in the room, a good telly... More

Myself and my sister stayed here for one night in October 2011. The first room we were given reeked of smoke as soon as we opened the door. The receptionist said it was a non-smoking room but any non-smoker would know that room had never had a day without a cigarette for years! We were given a room on the... More
