2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

On the whole the hotel is fine and well kept. Our room was clean and tidy and the bathroom also. The location of the hotel is far out but it is accessible to the tram into town. My main gripe about the hotel was the staff. They need an urgent crash course on customer service. The guy on the desk... More

My partner Fiona and I stayed at the LFH from 6th - 15th of October. Many people have whinged about the location of this hotel, and I'll concede that it is hardly ideal - situated by a motorway and in the middle of a grotty industrial sprawl, but I hardly think the hotel itself can be blamed for that. It... More

Stayed for 1 night with my husband and 2 month old baby.I am digusted what we paid for. This is certainly not even a 2 star hotal so how they have a rating of a 4 star I really don't know.Rooms were tiny and very basic the cot the hotel provided me was digusting and dirty I had to let my... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 6 nights. Overall the hotel is very nice, staff respond immediately, we've had two requests and within 5 minutes someone was knocking at our door to fix the problem. Meals: The Food is excellent, we ate here 3 times and the meal is superb. Although I don't recommend their breakfast it wasn't good... More

From the moment we entered this hotel we were impressed, the car park was a great bonus, the reception staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a snack in the hotel which was excellent. The room was good, only fly in the ointment was the roadworks being carried out on the motorway, we could hear them from our room.... More

Beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious bedrooms with ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Plenty tea and coffee in the room. Fantastic selection for breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to stay again. A special mention to Bridget on reception who couldn't be nicer when we arrived and at check out.

This is a modern hotel situated outside Dublin City from southern side. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. There is a safe spacious underground carpark free to patrons. The hotel can be very busy at weekends and seems to be a popular venue locally for weddings. However there is plenty space in foyer area to sit and relax and... More

we stayed here for 4 nights recently. The first thing to state is that it is very hard to find due to current major road works. In addition our Tom Tom took us to the wrong hotel, one of a number of errors while in Ireland. The staff are very friendly but the hotel is very busy and there are... More

We supposedly had a superior room, but even that wasn't particularly impressive, so I dread to think what a standard room is like. It really didn't feel like any four star hotel I'd ever stayed in before - more like a Travelodge with a slightly nicer reception and a bar. Don't get me wrong - it wasn't a bad hotel... More

We stayed in The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel at Newlands Cross last week while visiting Dublin and found the location to be perfect if you want to park your car and use public transport. Situated about a ten minute walk from the Luas tram service which brings you into the heart of Dublin City. The hotel itself is very clean and... More
