My daughter and I stayed here for 1 night as we had an noon flight the next day. The hotel is located near O'Connell street but it's at the top of Parnell Square (just turn right when we you see Jury's Inn). There are some buses that go past the hotel but it would be better getting a cab if... More

We stay at this hotel several times every year as we travel to Dublin quite a lot . The location is good for us . We have tried other similar grade hotels in the area and have now settled on the Maldron as our place to stay. The cleanliness , the comfortable beds, the good breakfast ,the helpful staff and... Everything was clean and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay. Some reviews say the location isn't great, I don't agree, it's a 3 minute walk from O'Connel Street. The street its on is calm, so at night you won't be bothered by street noise at all. We got a double + single bed, which was good because we are both... More

Nice hotel, everything you need, decor a bit old but we didn't spend much time In the room so not an issue! I emailed the hotel ahead to let them know it was my husbands 40th and they upgraded us free to a suite and also complimentary wine and chocolates :-) only downside is the wifi, in this day and... Having been to Dublin a few times I probably shouldn't have been swayed by the trip advisor reviews about this hotel's location as it really is not in a great part of the city. The properties around are all high rises or boarded up flats which are used as dumping grounds for rubbish. We walked around looking for a pub... More

We enjoyed a clean, well-provided room for 2 adults & 1 teen. Our room was in a corner away from the street, quiet, no street noise, no noise from the interior hallway. It was convenient to bus stops, which I appreciated after lots of Dublin walking! Very good hot breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My husband, father and I ended our two+ week Ireland trip with three nights in Dublin and, overall, this hotel was fine. The room was a bit cozy, but the bed was comfy, the street noise was limited, good water pressure, convenient location, and the front desk staff were pleasant. The wi-fi was a bit annoying, though, as it required... More

The staff was very nice from the beginning to the end. The beautiful rooms were tidy, clean and very silent rooms Great breakfast with a great selection (9€ a person, absolutely recommendable) Fast wifi for free :)

So writing this to help any other first timers to Dublin and this hotel in particular. If you want to be out later at all do not stay North of river Liffey - which this is. If you do go back to the hotel at 8 or 9 prepare for the noise outside to be quite loud. If you will... More

We arrived (well I did, my partner circled around outside as there was nowhere to park) to check in, only to be told there was no parking available in the underground carpark and we would have to park in a city centre carpark, which was a bit of a walk from the hotel. Due to the hotels location there's no... More

Dear June K, Many thanks for your comments here on Tripadvisor. I am glad that you found our staff to be pleasant and you enjoyed your food at the hotel. We do have limited parking at the hotel and unfortunately there is no set down area at the hotel and we have been engaged in conversations with the local authorities... More
