Bruno and Michael are amazing hosts with great advise and suggestions for tourists. The house is incredibly clean with modern minimalistic decor. The guest rooms are small but they have incredibly comfortable beds and flat screen TVs. The location is in a quiet suburb just a 5-10 minute bus ride from the city center. Breakfast is self serve continental which... more

For me this is an ideal place to stay. Clean, attractive, quiet, restful, non-fussy rooms. Cable TV available but you'll find yourself not interested. Breakfast - serve yourself with a variety of good things available. Excellent host: helpful, friendly, available, informative, but never intrusive. 20-30 minutes by easy foot outside City Centre but also a pleasant, inexpensive bus ride if... more

As an Irish person who has travelled all over Ireland staying in b and bs from Donegal to Kerry over the years, this was one of the strangest b and bs I have ever come across. Minimalist in its decor, the ensuite rooms were sparse at best. Yes Ireland is experiencing a recession at the moment but this was a... more

Cosy B&B in quiet environment. No threspassing tourists, people have to find it on the internet and willing to take the bus/taxi to the centre, or to do a 30 minutes walk, instead of being in the middle of it. You are not paying for unwanted eggs and bacon, but for a healthy basic breakfast, the company of the owner... more

We recently returned home from a nine day visit to Ireland. We traveled the country as much as we could within the time limitations. It was an amazing experience that we fully recommend, particularly during the off-season when prices are lower and tourists are scarce. When we returned home, my partner and I decided to take some time to do... more

After staying in hotels for 3 weeks, it was refreshing to feel at home with Bruno & Michael's hospitality. Our flight was delayed & we arrived later than expected but were just in time for an unexpected trip to the pub where the boys shouted us a welcome guiness. After 5 days staying at "Nua Haven" we felt we were... more

This place was a wonderful respite from busy Dublin life. The room was simple but adequate with bathroom and TV. At first I wasn't happy about being the mile or so from the center of town but soon felt relieved to come home to a peaceful place out of the hectic life of the city. The owners are buddist and... more

This was my first time out of the country (live in Utah, but PLZ there really are normal people here!). I was celebrating my 50th bday and decided to do it by participating in the Dublin Marathon. Bruno was the host extraordinaire. I have and will continue to, recommend Nua to anyone. The room was great - loved having my... more

Bruno, Buddhism & Breakfast….What more could you ask of the special place in Dublin called Nua Haven? We recently celebrated my partner’s 50th birthday in Dublin and could not have been more pleased with our choice to stay at Nua Haven. We have stayed in many B&B’s and guesthouses and find that a good host can truly enhance any travel... more

We had a wonderful stay at Nua Haven! The hosts, Bruno & Michael are simply lovely! Very informative about things to see and do, we were not disappointed. Nua Haven is in a quiet neighbourhood and the beds are good - so a good night sleep is almost assured. It is a little out of the city centre, but public... more
