The bus from the Airlink company, driving from the airport to the city center, stops right beside the hotel. The bus back to the airport stops right across the road, which was perfect and very practical access. The hotel itself was quiet, roomy, bright and modern. It was also clean, and the bathroom was nice. You get a very nice... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't even mind the trek up to the 4th floor. There's no elevator, so if the hike is too much for you, be sure to ask for a lower room. Breakfast was simple but good. The full Irish breakfast was a bit on the salty side,... More

I stayed here for four nights in January at the end of a few weeks holiday in the UK and Ireland. The staff were very helpful, and the room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts are basic, but plentiful. It is a central location for the sights of Dublin, and there is a bus to the airport across the road.... More

Arrived with a colleague for two nights, was pleasantly surprised with the location and that on the face of it the rooms where nice, quite modern, good size and amenities (coffe/tea p) hair drier and iron on request etc...!! I was in room 8 my colleague room 9 (opposite side to hall) Room 8 however is facing the main road... More

Stayed for one night during January with my boyfriend. Handy location but would be careful walking there alone at night. The building itself however felt very safe and secure. Staff were welcoming and our room was ready two hours early which was great as we could check in and leave our bags in the room. Couldn't believe the size of... More

We enjoyed our stay as the location is fantastic. It's walking distance to most attractions even though it's out of the super touristy area. However, be aware that there is no elevator and we were placed on the third floor and had to walk up with three very large suitcases. In addition we were told there was an extra charge... More

I stayed here from 25/11/14 - 27/11/14. I travelled from Belfast to Dublin with my mum for my 21st birthday and after serious searching on trip advisor, my mum chose this guesthouse. To start with, this guesthouse is in a PERFECT location. It is a simple 2 minute walk from the bus station and O'Connell street. The outside of this... More

Lets start with the positives. The location was good. Walking distance to shops, bars and the airport bus stop. We had a two bedroom apartment. The lounge and bedrooms were a good standard, nicely decorated, clean with good comfy beds. The bathroom and kitchen however let this place down. The kitchen was old and tatty with draws that couldnt close... More

A lovely welcome by the reception staff was our first taste of Amberley House. The room was large and airy with large windows and a lovely bathroom. Free water, biscuits and lollies were a bonus for my daughter and I. The cooked Irish breakfast was great and the courtyard is a nice outlook. The staff were very helpful with all... More

Great location, right at the bus stop for the airport, in a quiet street close to O'Connell Street and the area south of the town with the main attractions (Temple Bar, Trinity College, St Patrick Church, etc.) is just a pleasant walk. I didn't see the rooms in the hotel because we were in an apartment in a dependance just... More
