The room was clean, so was the bed and bathroom, nice big bed, but a small room for a bed that sized. I ordered trough hotels.com, paying loads, cuz they had a combined shower/bathtub, at the arrivel told that there was such thing as a bathtub, so my advise is, check your hotel hp, before placing an order. The Wi-Fi... More

I recently overnighted in this hotel. On arrival the greeting was "Name? " - no good evening , no welcome. This I find very offputting. The room was very well appointed and clean. The bathroom was spotless. Anybody with mobility problems would be strongly advised to clarify the location of their room. I climbed 70 steps to my room. There... More

Over priced: I paid £867.45 for two nights staying in the dirties, one bedroom accommodation I had ever experienced. The whole place stunk of old ingrained stale smoke, which deodorant spray and perfume could not shift. The bed linen had mould on the sheets, so my daughter had to sleep on top of the quilt. There were disgusting stains on... More

Dear Suzanne Many thanks for taking the time to post your review of The Amberley House. The weekend in question was high demand due to a large event in the area, which did affect the daily rate. Unfortunately when the noise issues were reported to reception at 4pm the following day, all guests had checked in, so there was no... More

This was a welcome retreat for busy tourists. The room and bathroom were spotless, serviced daily and spacious enough for our family of three. Any help required was professionally offered. We were assisted with our luggage. Excellent value for money.

We have visited Amberley house in may and stayed there for three days. There has been free wifi which signal was unfortunately not available in the lower floor anymore. The house is based on the northern part of the town near to the river with its bridges. You can add breakfast to your booking for a few euros. Hotel stuff... More

I stay here regularly when in Dublin. Amberley house is in a great central location and is surprisingly quite for being situated on a busy street. The rooms I've slept in have been a decent size with comfortable beds and the staff are always friendly and obliging. I find it great value for money as it provides the same facilities... More

Amberley house is easy walking distance from the main centre, but quiet for the centre of town. We had a room at the back which was very spacious and quiet. The rooms at the front are on the main street so I cant comment on whether they are much noiser. Great irish breakfast if you are used to eating that... More

I stay here often when I am in Dublin on business. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Place is nice and quiet even though it is in the center of town. I would ask for a room at the back of the property if possible. I have never eaten so cannot comment on that. WIFI is good... More

We stayed in an apartment room at the Amberley House for 3 days in early June, 2014. We were on the 1st floor (#47), facing Lower Gardiner Street, on which both the Amberly House and the separate building with the apartments are located. Gardiner Street is fairly busy, and the street noise was noticeable, both from cars and from foot... More
