Stayed at the kings wood for the Wales v Ireland game with a friend this weekend, nice hotel just miles away from everything and the night manager was awful!! I arrived wearing my welsh hoody & he tried over charging an extra €100 deposit because we were welsh & would 'smoke' in the room?? Yet never asked anyone else in... More

No hassle upon check in. Nice rooms. No bar as such just a bar counter in the lobby. Guinness served in a Carlsberg glass - travesty. But the staff were very nice and they serve quite good pizza quickly and til late. Beat that!! Unusual clientele on a Saturday night. Lots of bedroom drinking couples because of the lack of... More

Good value hotel. The room was clean spacious with a large comfortable bed. Convenient location as its right on the motorway. Not sure about the heating though, there is a radiator in the room, which we couldn't turn on.

Good value hotel and well placed if doing business on Dublin’s south side. Staff friendly and welcoming. Dinner in McGettigan’s Cookhouse & Bar in the grounds of the hotel grounds was better than average. It’s a kind of Gastro Pub/Restaurant establishment if you like that sort of thing. Good mix of locals and business types in the bar adding to... More

Stayed here again. Once more made use of the discount arrangement with the Palmerston stud golf course. Hotel has changed in now offering a new restaurant. Very contemporary ambience and good reasonably priced menu. As ever staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, very reasonably priced and modern. A little bit of difficulty getting to the hotel as there is another hotel in the area with a similar name that we ended up at! The restaurant beside the hotel was also very good, we had a great meal there!

The hotel is so modern ! Couldn't fault the rooms or reception. Hotel staff are so friendly. Elevator to each floor! Rooms are very large. Loved the breakfast excellently priced at €12 for full buffet access hot and cold selection! Very convenient hotel for travelling to dublin center as only a 15 min drive. Great stay if shopping or sight... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff were excellent-very friendly, professional and helpful. The food in the restaurant next door was outstanding. Some of the best food we have eaten in a long time and fairly priced too. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean but not sparklingly immaculate-for example there was dust around the lampshade... Stayed here late 2015, hotel is lovely. Great rooms and the staff are extremely friendly. At most its a 15minute walk to the nearest luas stop (which has car parking). Amazing food in both the hotel and the bar beside it. Top notch.

Stayed with my husband & 5 children for a 2 night stay. Booked interconnecting rooms. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly (especially Tony in the breakfast room). Rooms were spotless, comfortable and spacious. Beautiful decor. Reasonably priced. Delicious food in the restaurant next door (we had it billed to our room and delivered to us - staff could not have... More
