Terry and his family created a fantastic atmosphere. Room was lovely and comfortable. Perfect location: both on foot or by bus can easily reached (and even there is an air coach step within 5 min walk). Dannybrook is m favorite part of Dublin, and this place didnt disappoint me! Absolutely recommend it.

Donnybrook charmed me from the moment we arrived with it's bright yellow door, vibrant flowers and the hospitality of Terry and Debbie. Our room was secluded from the others and we had our own little patio. We loved the en-suite room and the sky light in the room. Tea and coffee were in the room for us when we arrived.... More

The location is great - close to transit, reasonable for parking if you search a bit and a Tesco Express at the end of the street for restocking. The room was typical Europe snug but it was clean and well equipped. The staff are very, very helpful and the breakfast offered several choices and were all delicious. Great soda bread!... More

We were in Dublin for my daughter's graduation from UCD, so the location was excellent. It is about 100 meters off Stillorgan Road on Belmont Avenue, so much quieter than Donnybrook Lodge which is right on the main thoroughfare, but still only a few minutes away from the University. Buses to downtown come every 7-10 minutes and to the airport... More

My husband and I stayed here on two occasions at the beginning and end of our cycling holiday in the Wicklow Mountains. We flew from Leeds and Bradford airport on the 6.30am flight so arrived at the hotel by 8.30am. We had caught the airport coach which dropped us within a short walk of the hotel. The hotel was tucked... More

This was my first experience of Irish hospitality and catering. Straight off the Holyhead to Dublin ferry I drove to the hotel not expecting anything out of the ordinary. However, the host Terry takes great pride in his hotel and it has obviously rubbed off on his staff. I was created by one of the staff who sat me down... More

Very pleased to end our two weeks in Ireland with three nights at Donnybrook Hall. Our rooms were very clean, quiet, bright and cheerful; breakfast was delicious; and the staff was extremely helpful. Thanks Terry, for making sure we had a good breakfast before our early departure.
