There is no elevator and when we checked in Sunday morning after an overnight flight, and they told us there were no rooms available, after I had reserved/paid for the room Saturday nite to assure we could have a room, they put us on the 3rd floor. We walked up 4 flights of stairs. The light on the ceiling had... More

Stayed on a Monday night so nice and quiet - weekends may be very different, given huge room with beds for six and two bathrooms all to myself. Reception staff nice, breakfast staff less hospitable. Rooms dated and in real need of full renovation, but I slept like a log in a comfortable bed and had plenty of hot water... More

Possibly the most frustrating thing is the WiFi. Staff were very apologetic, but explained that the WiFi is running on a low bandwidth connection. Sadly that means it only works if the hotel is empty! Couldnt send or receive emails for three hours! Bedroom was OK, mattress was obviously old - you could feel the springs, and the bathroom tiles... More

Ok so let's all calm down. This hotel is not as bad as the reviews make it seem! Does it seriously need to be renovated? Oh yes. There are dents and dings everywhere. Is the mattress bad? It's terrible! Very old springy mattress. Is it loud at night? Only on party nights like Saturday. Then it is super loud. Even... More

Ok hotel, great location, but very very cold. Tv is tiny. Lacking that hotel spec. But the food makes up for it really nice, but quite expensive. A soup was around €6, its also quite cold in the restaurant too. The staff in the bar were giving out about something, i didnt think it was professional at all.

The hotel is in the centre of Dublin, the location is excellent. Room was small without facilities to work. WiFi worked well, breakfast is ok, staff was friendly. The bar/restaurant is acceptable, there are also many bars/restaurant at walking distance. A bit dated and it looks a bit overpriced for what you get.

This hotel should only have the classification of hostel. The only benefit is that it is convenient although it is also noisy as right on the side of the street on a corner so every truck turning the corner is extra loud. The bedroom was old fashioned which is not a problem except that the furniture was scratched and stained... More

Ideally situated right next to Trinity so everything is easily accessible from your doorstep. No lift so be aware if you're travelling heavy. We only had hand luggage for a 2 night stay so it wasn't so bad. Room was nice & clean, basic but you'd expect that for the money. Bathroom was a little dated but functional. I've stayed... More

Given the price and location of this hotel, it's a good deal. The archaeology museum is just down the street, which was a major plus for me! You should note that there is not a lift in this hotel, which didn't cause me any problems, but do be aware if you have heavy luggage. The bathroom was very dated with... More
