A lovely warm welcome. No elevator, small and narrow stairs. OK standard in room with tea / coffee facilities. Stayed two nights, first morning there was no warm water in the shower. In addtion, the shower did not look too clean. Was out running early in the morning and had problems getting back in because of the lock out. Breakfast... More

Situated just beside Trinity College and down the road from the National Library, National Gallery, the Irish Dail (parliament) and ten minutes from the ghoulishness of Temple Bar, this hotel is ideally situated. When I checked in, I had an unforeseen problem with my credit card which was immediately and easily resolved by the helpful man on reception. A good... More

Stayed here for one night with friends in a triple room, check-in was quick, efficient and friendly the room was on the third floor which was a long trek up and there is no elevator. The reception was nice and clean and the room was clean to a very high standard, decor very nice also. There was a foul smell... More

No complaints with the warm Irish welcome, the clean room, or even the shared bathroom between a floor of guests. Only issue was arriving back at 5am after a cracking Irish wedding to find the front door was deadlocked and the nightwatchman was MIA. After 15 minutes, there was a queue of others waiting to get in, ringing the night... More

Windows dont open; no bathroom ventilation; sleep with smell; complained and was told to use the fan! peeling paint; very nice friendly staff seemed surprised that windows didn't open but they were painted closed in about 1950; overpriced backpacker hostel presented as real hotel; nice fresh cooked breakfast though!

A group of us stayed here for my sisters birthday and I have to say, for a 2 star hotel our rooms were great - modern and clean with comfy beds. The staff went over and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, especially Clare - would definitely stay here again!

Although there was a little hiccup (with dublin city council) which caused a slight discoloration in the water, help was on hand immediately, many thanks to Claire in particular who went above and beyond to ensure this was fixed (while we went out for a meal!) and that we still enjoyed our night. Would recommend based on this alone, room... More

We stayed here 'cause we wanted to visit Trinity College in the morning before leaving Dublin. We had a room without a bathroom, but a shared bathroom at the corridor. We were a bit hesitant about this, but it was ok. We didn't meet any othe quests so actually made almost no difference to own bathroom.

Stayed here for one night, booked last minute and got a twin room for 45euro which was a bargain! The girls were lovely at reception, very friendly! Very close to st Stevens green and alot of buses pass here every 10 minutes so its easy to get around Dublin. The rooms are spacious and clean! No faults really!
