this hotel is in an amazing spot right near all the good stuff but not too close to me loud. the staff was friendly and the rooms clean and large. we booked a twin with shared bathroom and we thought it would be hostel style shared bath but it was only shared with one other room and was super clean... Little did I know that there's a "bar" which in US terms means loud music on Sat night. I'm not saying this is a bad thing if you are staying at the hotel and expect to be out, or downstairs at the nightclub. But if you wanted to sleep, its going to take a room fan and some good earplugs.... More

First of all we had to share a bathroom outside of our room with another family, around 8 of us and then...We requested another room with our own bathroom and toilet and they told us it would be on the 3rd floor with two single beds... however...They put us on the 2nd floor with two double beds and the room... We stayed in Dublin for two nights in August, and the Kildare Street hotel meet our needs perfectly. We realized that Dublin is a very expensive place to stay, and although Kildare Street was not "cheap," it offered us the best deal on hotels.com. It's location was very convenient, right beside Trinity College and within walking distance to all attractions... More

This hotel has a great location. It is basic but clean. The check in staff are courteous but not able to do much to help with problems like tv channels etc. The pub adjoining targets tourists but the staff seem very disgruntled. The man serving me was helpful but what seemed to be a supervisor was complaining and having some... More

We had scheduled long day trips out of Dublin. They don't start breakfast until 7:30 am. How ever they let us in to make a cold sandwich type breakfast. The staff were very helpful for all our needs. The down side is our room was on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. There is a bar attached to... More

We booked the nightclub for my partner's birthday party and had a nice group of friends come along to celebrate with us. We were able to bring in our own music and play it through the sound system so that is probably the one positive of the whole debacle. We had went to the trouble of ordering a cake especially... I recently stayed here and for the price i paid for a just bed and no breakfast in the central area i expected quality for my money. I stayed in room 325 and upon entering the room i noticed above the window on the right hand side that paint was flaking off and what looked like mould between the paint... More

I needed a less expensive hotel option during my recent 5-night stay in Dublin. This quaint hotel is conveniently located in downtown area across from Trinity college. The staff are friendly and professional. My single room was small, clean, no-frills but provided a pleasant, quiet hotel experience at a good price. Many sites were within walking distance. No elevator. I... More
