The hotel is in the centre of Dublin, the location is excellent. Room was small without facilities to work. WiFi worked well, breakfast is ok, staff was friendly. The bar/restaurant is acceptable, there are also many bars/restaurant at walking distance. A bit dated and it looks a bit overpriced for what you get.

This hotel should only have the classification of hostel. The only benefit is that it is convenient although it is also noisy as right on the side of the street on a corner so every truck turning the corner is extra loud. The bedroom was old fashioned which is not a problem except that the furniture was scratched and stained... More

Ideally situated right next to Trinity so everything is easily accessible from your doorstep. No lift so be aware if you're travelling heavy. We only had hand luggage for a 2 night stay so it wasn't so bad. Room was nice & clean, basic but you'd expect that for the money. Bathroom was a little dated but functional. I've stayed... More

Given the price and location of this hotel, it's a good deal. The archaeology museum is just down the street, which was a major plus for me! You should note that there is not a lift in this hotel, which didn't cause me any problems, but do be aware if you have heavy luggage. The bathroom was very dated with... More

We booked a function room here for a party and decided to get a room for the night so our 4 year old could attend. The room was right above the night club and there was loud music blaring until 3 am. The furniture was old and dated and looked like it hadn't been changed since the 70's. The function... More

Had a nice stay on our first day in Ireland. Very close to the downtown bar area, and a lot of restaurants close by. Clean, quiet room for being on a street front. Nice hotel staff, very helpful with directions to the parking garage, and making recommendations on things to do in Dublin. Parking is just around the corner, which... More

Stayed for a couple of nights for the rugby game. The hotel is very central and a great location. It's ok for the price when compared to higher star hotels. Music from the bar was quite loud on a Saturday night from the first floor. There was a small fire Saturday morning and all were evacuated. It was nothing serious... More

Dear Tracy, Thank you for taking time to review our hotel, I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us and our location was ideal for your break. The hotel's website blatantly misrepresents the hotel and I consider its prices extortionate. It was booked for us by a friend who negotiated a group rate. Compared with hotels in larger west European capital cities, the rate was about right for a 4-star hotel. A brief look at the hotel's website seemed to confirm this. When I later saw the... More

This hotel located right in the middle of the city (Southside that is) and it was a great location for a night on the town. I arrived at lunchtime on the same day I booked the room and I was delighted that the room was ready for me. A large room awaited that was very clean and well decked out... More

I go to dublin a couple of times a year, I stayed at the Kildare St hotel in Dec 14. The location is fantastic, you are a couple of mins walk to most things. They staff were great, very helpful and friendly. They lock the font door at night so you always feel safe, we went as a group of... More
