We stayed at Kingfisher Townhouse for 4 nights in total, 3 nights when we arrived in Dublin and then a night back in Dublin after 3 nights around Ireland before we left for Wales. I lived in Dublin 6 years ago so it was neat being back in my old neighbourhood. We had a room facing Parnell Street but didn't... More

Currently there is a tram system going in and the road works are everywhere around this hotel. Absolutely hectic around here. Very basic rooms, but very clean, on a busy road, so if like me you get a window facing the road, very loud. The staff were very helpful and made us feel more comfortable after our hectic arrival. Here's... More

We stayed at the Kingfisher Townhouse over the Christmas break in 2014. It was at first somewhat difficult to find for us, being sandwiched between other shops etc. on Parnell Street, but it's a very short and convenient walk to O'Connell Street, and from there of course, buses, taxis, everything is available, and right nearby are several excellent family-oriented pubs,... We arrived on an early flight and the receptionist (think it was Anne Marie) did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely warm, friendly hotel. Brilliant position and marvellous adjoining restaurant. We also got a bargain price and will be staying again very soon x

We booked this hotel online ad hough it was a cheaper option, the reviews were good. We got a taxi from the bus station and it was only €7.50. When we arrived, we were greeted and given coupons for the next door cafe and restaurant, and a visitors map with our key. The map was very handy and we used... More

Positives: very cheap price, central location, easy access to bus and taxi for early morning airport transfer, spcious enough hotel room, nice modern bathroom, 24 hour reception. Location: on the north end of O'connell street. walking distance to O'connell street, temple bar, trinity and other local attractions. Large Tesco just downstairs. Negatives: no elevator and three flights of stairs for... More

Arrived in the morning. Having not stayed in Dublin before, we found the hotel with relative ease from the Aircoach bus stop which was just around the corner. They happily stored our bags and gave us a welcome pack which included a useful map and a couple of discount vouchers. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, in a central location... More

Lovely little B&B in a great location close to a lot of the big tourist attractions. The B&B itself has friendly staff and rooms that are comfortable to stay in. The breakfast part is fantastic and is only next door in their restraunt as well as being great value for money (try the full irish in the morning)

The kingfisher was a lovely little find. We travelled to Dublin on 3rd Decemeber for a 3 night stay midweek. We were looking for a hotel that was central to Dublin, reasonably priced and that included breakfast, and this is exactly what we got from the Kingfisher Townhouse. Very friendly welcome upon arrival and the staff at the desk were... More

We spent a night here and it was excellent. We travelled from Waterford and had some difficultly in finding a parking space to check in and gain access to car park. It should state on their website where to park and how to get to it. But other than that everything was perfect. We paid €66 for one night stay... More
