We spent the first night of our honeymoon in Ireland at the Kingfisher hotel. Mat, the manager was fantastic in organising the special touches for our room. The room itself was absolutely spotless we could not fault it. Food in the restaurant next door was excellent value and serving the best chips we'd had for a long time. We were... More

For our first night in Dublin we choose this small townhouse like inn. It offers only 13 rooms on three floors. Even if we stayed in the upper floor, and even there is no lift (we were prepared - and it's a Kind of Fitness) we loved this tiny b&b; room was small but comfy, Very good beds, view to... More

We chose this hotel because there were three females in our party and they gave us a room with three beds in it. The room was very small but very clean as was the shower room. But I must endorse the comments made by another reviewer: if you are not on the first floor, it is a long way up... More

The hotel is centrally located allowing easy access to most of the city. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Beware, though, that this hotel does NOT have a lift, and it's a long winding way up all those narrow stairs. Also beware the rooms, while modern, are very small, as is the bath. And the shower is very, very, very... More

Good friends recommended this place and it was perfect for us. The bathroom was updated and the room comfortable. The breakfast in the restaurant next door was great (part of the room cost). Ann Marie and Matt were very helpful (the receptionists). The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Dublin. There is a grocery next... More

Arrived from sunny Croatia to rainy Dublin and was not loving it until I checked in at this hotel. The lady on reception, who's name I have unfortunately forgotten but I believe she was from Romania, was so lovely!! We had a good talk and she gave me advice about the surrounding area. The room was clean, the beds comfortable... More

Was over in Ireland for a wedding and flew into Dublin as we love the city.Stayed in the Gresham on the first night as a treat and was not impressed in the slightest. Having stayed up in Drogheda for the wedding we booked into the Kingfisher on the sunday and could not fault it for the friendly, helpful staff, immaculate... More
