Out of all the B&B]s we stayed in Ireland, this Innkeeper couldn't have been any ruder! She scolded us like school girls (we are well over the that age!) We got lost following her directions, then she said she wouldn't have come in that way at all (hint, change your website please). Apparently, we kept her from her shopping -... More

Only stayed two night, Charming B&B in a lovely area, nicely decorated with a good breakfast, Owner was nice and helpful with directions. the website indicated there were several restaurant in walking distant but there were only a few . It also mentioned it was only 3 miles to city center but it seem much farther then that. (but the... More

Not a great place at all. There's no signage to find the place, the lady who opened the door didn't even know the name of the place and came running after us when we went next door to ask for help. Bedroom had no lock on the door and tiles in bathroom were broken. None of the wall sockets were... More

The walls were very thin, we could hear the person in the next room and in the next house! The rooms were cold with controlled heating that only stayed on for a very short period. Although we had the sign for ''do not enter'' they still went into the room while we were gone. It also mentions something along the... More

I stayed here for one night. I had told the owners that I would be arriving between 8.30 & 9pm. Just as I pulled into the drive way I received a call from 8.50 from the owner saying that no one was home and he would be back in 15 minutes.... 40minutes after sitting in my car I rang the... More

Being our first night in Ireland and our first ever stay in a B&B we were unsure of what to expect. What we found was a very comfortable home in a very scenic location, not too close to the City Centre but conveniently located and within walking distance of some excellent eating establishments. The Kennedy's treated us with what we... More

We visited the place on March 2013. Location was perfect for us: on a quiet area but it was fast and easy to travel to the center with bus. Rooms were small but comfortable, service was excellent and breakfast ok. Noices from other rooms are quite easily audible, it may disturb someones sleep when the house is fully booked.

After traveling around Europe it was particularly refreshing to find a place that felt like home. The Kennedy's treated us with the utmost Irish hospitality, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. They made it clear that they would help us if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. The location was perfect, and the... More

Overall this was a great place to stay. We were here for St. Patrick's day. Mr. Kennedy were very accommodating and even offered to drive us where we needed to go throughout the weekend, saving us a lot of time and aggravation. I highly recommend Slievenmanor if you are looking for a great few days in Dublin.
