I just loved this hotel, it is so new & modern, the rooms were very spacious but the automatic minibar was a bit painful & not refridgerated. we travelled with a baby so it was hard to keep milk for her. It was a pretty long bus ride itno Dublin or a very expensive taxi. It's a shame this hotel... more

Stayed for 1 night while at a family party. Room was spacious with nice decor...great to see some colour used as so many hotels just use beige! Bathroom was very big with a huge shower. Bed not so big, queen size at most which made things a bit uncomfortable given the room temperature was so warm and we couldnt get... more

I overnighted at Tyrellstown Park Plaza after a family function in the hotel, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. A few minor (and preventable) glitches prevented it from being an excellent experience. We had two interconnecting rooms (315 & 317) to accommodate two adults and three kids. When we got up to the rooms, the interconnecting door was... more

As mentioned by others it is not a central hotel or close to typical tourist spots but not every tourist wants the same right!!! It is near Blancherstown for shopping/cinema/bowling I absolutely adored the rooms they were so funky and clean. TV options were great I had myself a little audrey hepburn fest when I gained control of the remote... more

The place is simple and clean. About 15-20 min to Dublin City center by cab. Rooms were new, comfortable beds with wifi. Buffet breakfast was okay (no made to order omelettes) but I felt a little pricey. Nice bar with fresh Guinness (and I was told not many locals drink Guinness). Dinner was okay too. I found an asian restaurant... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding. We arrived quite late after a frazzled trip via airport and car hire! At the hotel, we were pleasantly surpised by the area and the rectption. The receptionist was friendly, although annoyed my already frazzled self by taking and contining with a phone call - she eventually told... more

This hotel is located far from any of Dublin's main amenities, so you should be prepared to do a lot of travelling. It seems to be located within a industrial area, with high voltage pylones running closeby. When we stayed there, we were woken very early by the sound of rockbreaking machinery operating outside the hotel, however the staff did... more

The Park Plaza Tyrrelstown is well away from the parts of Dublin a tourist would want to see, and it isn't easy to find! When we called the hotel to get an address to punch into our GPS, all they could provide was a route number (astounding that their front desk staff didn't know an exact address!). After much driving,... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night while working in Dublin. Unfortunately my train was delayed by a few hours so i didn't arrive at the hotel until midnight. The night manager or porter (i think his name was Andreas) was great. He greeted me from the taxi and carried my heavy luggage to the check-in desk. He checked... more

The hotel is just great. The staff is very friendly. It is a couple of kilometres away from the citycentre but therefore contemporaryly designed and very neat. Tyrrelstown is a quiet little village - but Dublin City is only a short bus ride away. The hotel has got very good weekend rates for the the next months. I booked it... more
