I spent a couple of nights here while backpacking in Dublin and it's a perfect spot for any backpacker. The best things are the location, it's right on the Liffey so everything you need is walking distance - pubs, shops, banks, sights, bus station and train station. Plus the Guinness brewery isn't too far either. The hostel is massive inside... More

I booked and requested for a bottom bed 2 weeks before the arrival date and the Brazilian lady in my arrival at the reception said sorry i can't give you a bottom bed . She said i don't have when i arrived in the room i saw some bottom bed empty . I think she need some customers service training... More

Hi there, Our receptionist was only being nice when she said you can eat as much as you want. It was meant to mean you can enjoy it as an 'all you can eat' service. The bed may have been empty but that doesn't mean someone else hadn't booked it yet they just had not arrived. Moving peoples beds can... More

I spent one night in Abbey Court and was so impressed by how lovely and helpful the staff were. They even let us get ready for a night out the day after we left, letting us store our bags and booking us transport to the airport. Room was lovely and clean, good facilities for getting ready (bathrooms and mirrored areas)... More

Staff friendly. Rooms cleans, although my dorm was a little cramped. Plenty of toilets and showers available. Pretty standard buffet style breakfast on offer. Right on the banks of the River Lifey, and in the heart of the city centre.

This hostel was a really good choice. You won't find a hostel with a better location, its perfect for nightlife, most meeting places for tours and the airport bus shuttle are very close as well. The daytime staff were really helpful, nightshift staff not as much. Beds were fairly comfortable, probably not the cleanest. Free wi-fi worked in the rooms,... More

It was a lot of traffic, and the sound from the cars were loud. The breakfast was fine, they had fruit. They had cinema at the hostel with popcorn and everything. They had a gaming room. The bathrooms had daily cleaning which was nice.

Great hostel, close to the centre and plenty of services. It is clean and has flexible breakfast service. We went there for a couple of nights and it is really handy to go out and be only 10 minutes far from Temple Bar area, 5 minutes from The centre, etc...

Stayed in 20 dorm female room (had to stay quite and was difficult coming back late at night with no light); they reserve beds, so no need to claim one; useful cage/locker underneath the bed (need own lock though). Walkable distance from main attractions. Free breakfast was poor; don't bother eating, simply get breakfast outside. Shuttle bus to airport was... More

Hi there, Thanks for the review! Our breakfast is free and includes a choice of cereal, toast - both brown and white, fruit and sausage rolls and of course tea and coffee. We feel it is very good seeing as it is free. Our wifi gets slightly slower when we are very busy like when you were here. Kind Regards,... More

The facilities (showers and toilets) were kept clean, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The location is the main selling point of the hostel, but the staff were also really friendly and helpful. I would strongly suggest taking a padlock for the under the bed storage, otherwise it isn't secure!
