Such a good deal for what they offer! We were here for 2 nights then they were booked fully for the weekend but let us come back the Sunday-Wednesday when they had rooms open! So that Sunday we stayed in the 24 person room and we did not like it so much. The room was clean and beds were comfy!... More

Hey! Thanks for the great review and we're delighted you enjoyed the hostel. Sorry you didn't get the 12 bed dorm for all of the nights but we book up so fast for the summer months. Hope you can come back to visit again soon :) Yvonne More

Great location and friendly people. The beds were quite comfy and were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful as it was our first time in Dublin so they told us about the best attentions and places to go. First time in a hostel while traveling and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Dublin either alone or with friends!

stayed in this hostel at the weekend, could not check in until 2:30pm so dropped off our bags and went out. we got back to the hostel around 3am, our room was on the top floor, when we entered the room the floor was soaked, covered in water, 2 of the bunk beds were soaked through also, we realised that... Hi there. I'm really sorry about this experience you had in the Abbey Court. It sounds quite unpleasant and I can understand why you are so annoyed. Generally guests enter the room before they leave for the evening and the window would not still be open. The cleaners leave the window open until the guests check in to allow for... More

Does what it says on the tin. Its clean, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is fine however closes earlier than would like. Its massive literally a maze, super easy to get lost in, how I found my room drunk I don't know!

This was my first stay in a hostel and it exceeded expectations. The room was pretty small, with 12 people staying in it - 6 bunks. It did have an en suite shower and toilet, but there was often a queue and it was easier just to pop up stairs where there were many more toilets and showers. I never... More

My stay at Abbey Court was fantasic. The apartment I stayed in was spotless, it had comfy furniture and all of the basic supplies that we needed such as a kettle, microwave etc. The hostel part is also great, it has good wifi and a good seating area for you to be able to spend some quiet time. The staff... More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room cleaned, bright but a bit narrow, good bathroom. The room doors and the main entrance was unlocked by a magnetic cards. Under beds were lockable cages for backpacks. We really enjoyed the free breakfast. Food was light and rather vegan but plenty. It allowed casual conversation with other travellers. I would definitely come back... More

Mattresses were firm, comfy, and not too warm although we would try to leave the window for our room open as late as possible before closing it to sleep since the room wasn't very cool. Our room had one bathroom en suite which was cleaned daily. Breakfast included free coffee that wasn't instant, a rare, wonderful bonus for hostels although... More

Seeing how I happen to have the time I might as well do this. I understand that "budget accommodation" means certain limitations in terms of service and overall I have to say that the staff and managers are doing their very best in keeping this place (and its facilities) in top shape, that being said I see no reason as... Hi there. Apologies your stay was not pleasant at the Abbey Court. I can assure we do not consider our valued customers merely as 'walking wallets'. It seems you had an unpleasant experience with staff which I can only apologise for. Perhaps you were unlucky and you were met with someone having a bad day. We hire staff based on... More

I spent a week in this youth hostel during August and I have really enjoyed it. I was in a room with 24 others, there was good security throughout, and everywhere was clean. Everyone has been really friendly and respectful of each other. The hammock room was a very nice surprise! The staff have been really helpful and I would... More
