We stayed here for 2 nights, 20th-22nd Feb in their private apartments. We were a group of 8 women. We had a great stay, apartments were clean, spacious and well equipped. We originally booked for 6 but then emailed Iris and added 2 more people into our room, she did say it would be a little tight but it was... More

Very certainly located. We missed breakfast because we weren't informed that breakfast finished at 9.30 and we arrived at 9.50 and no food left. Room was clean and there was a smell of fresh paint but the bathroom certainly needs updating but was clean. We were at rear of the building backing on to service lane and at far side... More

despite my reservations of staying in a hostel (something I've never done before), it was great. Atmosphere was good, rooms were clean, breakfast was nice & fun.....a bit like being at school & a good selection. The staff were friendly, knowledgable & helpful. The hammock room was great! All in all it was a good experience & I would stay... More

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to review our hostel. It is very disappointing to get a review like this especially when we work very hard to ensure our guests are happy with their experience. Firstly, we have a large staff of cleaners who clean all common areas twice a day and sometimes more. We also check that... More

Except its location, I think this place is much worthier than the conditions offered by some other hostels near by (such as Abigails which is just on opposite side). The kitchen area is very dirty, common area is noisy and look like a pub, rooms are small (and in the room I booked heater was broken), the stuff is unfriendly... More

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are very disappointed you were unhappy with your experience here. Firstly I can assure you our staff do care about our customers - they are hired under very specific terms. We usually score very high for staff so perhaps someone was having a bad day and I... More

My friends and I stayed at Abbey Court Hostel for a weekend of fun, And the welcome we received was second to none, Lucas on reception took us through the drill, With much zest and energy - to him it was clearly run of the mill, He proved a real character as he told us what sights we could see,... This is a very nice hostel, with plenty of pleople, and a great mood! breakfast are great, and the location is really good too. The staff is really generous and fun, is a different enviroment from the one you would get in other hostels like Jacobs or other kind of more professional hostel. Here you have a homy mood with... Rezeption very small and often overcrouded; good kitchen but annoying hostel-owner, who grumbles all the time to clean the dishes, although really everyone did it, he always says it´s the cleanest hostel in Dublin, but it isn´t!! it´s ok but not super clean; very very central; lockers under the bed, very bad and slow computers in the computer room, all... Thank you for your review. I am the annoying Hostel owner who as you say is GRUMPY. I do not intend to be grumpy but at times I do find it very annoying if Guests excluding breakfast do not wash , dry and put away their dishes after use as we are a large hostel and if a few people... More

Could not recommend this hostel highly enough! Perfect location, really easy to find the place and it's literally right in the middle of the city,a few minutes walk from temple bar. Seems to be really well maintained, especially considering its quite a big hostel, as rooms and toilets were always clean. Loved the artistically painted walls - made the place... More
