We arrived at this hotel late at night and were greeted by a member of staff. The room was basic but satisfactory as expected. The next day we woke up to NO water... Not even to flush the toilet! We phoned down to reception and they informed us that works down the road had cut off the supply and responded... More

We had booked a hotel in Dublin for two nights. When we arrived the lady -who was extremely rude. Said "that's yours" and pointed to the room exactly opposite the front desk. I asked her if there was another room available as it was our honeymoon and did not want to be woken up with all the people ringing the... More

Just what we needed for a cheap break in Dublin. It was a little run down and dated, but this was made up for by the great location - pubs and restaurants are within a short walking distance. The room was nice and clean, with a very nice bathroom. The bed was good enough for a good night's sleep. They... More

The Glen Guesthouse was lovely. The people were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The shops, pubs & restaurants were only around the corner. The rooms were modern & clean & had everything that you needed. We really enjoyed our stay. We would visit again. Thank You for a comfortable stay.

Awful beds, central heating without the opportunity to adjust temperature, lousy breakfast. Quite old and shabby, but friendly staff, nice bathroom and good location. Would definitely not stay there one more time.

When staying in Dublin we find it is all about the location and of course price. This place gets the tick for both. We stayed here for nine nights, as we love Dublin. Cruising around the back streets looking at all the chrissie lights, the vibe this time of year is awesome. We found the staff to be very friendly,... More

We stayed here a few nights before NYE. The location is fantastic and the price is fair. The breakfast is decent. You get to choose what you want from a card. However, breakfast ends at 10 am, which we thought were a bit early. The rooms are clean, but in need of maintenance. We stayed in a building at the... More

Many of the reviews that we had read before booking at the Glen were fairly average. Yes it certainly isn't the Ritz but it served its purpose well for the price we paid to stay here. The room was comfortable enough with a good sized double bed and bathroom with a fantastic pressure on the shower!! Yes there were little... More

Generally v good, breakfast good. Perfect location a few minutes from O connell street and right next to Airport Bus. Taps in the bathroom and heating are not great. The wall/ ceiling are a bit thin - so sometimes noise makes it hard to sleep. Bring earplugs.
