I wouldn't leave my dogs at the Glen Guesthouse. There was no temperature control in the rooms and the bathroom was dirty. The site advertised wifi, but it only worked in the "lobby", which was a small room with a makeshift desk and a chair. There was no elevator, so we had to drag our bags up four flights of... More

I stayed at the Glen Guesthouse for 4 nights in May 2014. It's a budget hotel in a great central location, opposite one of the bus stops on the 747 Airport bus route. One of the main shopping streets, O'Connell Street, is about 7 mins walk away, and the bars and nightlife of Temple Bar are 15 mins walk away.... More

I choose this place based on several good reviews. I'm not sure who wrote those reviews, though this is the second BAD experience I've had paying attention to Tripadvisor reviews. The Glen Guesthouse is apparently one of several B&B's owned by the same people (not Irish) on Lower Gardiner Street. It's first of all MUCH to expensive for the location... More

We came to Dublin to celebrate my wife's birthday as we had never been before and we looking forward to hearing the wonderful Irish accent everywhere we went. What a disappointment. With no disrespect intended to the staff at the guesthouse, we were both surprised to find that none of the staff were in fact Irish, although the service and... More

The room was not bad but the price was pretty high, the breakfast is ok but the staff is really unfriendly, out tv didn't work the night before leaving and the manager didn't helped us at all, she just yelled at us. You can hear everything in you room even the steps from another people. I would never stay here... More
