I stayed at the Glen Guesthouse on a Friday night in Christmas party season so I understand that there is a lot of demand for accommodation in Dublin city centre, but I found that for the €99 I paid I should have gotten more. The location is central but the area is a bit rough. The building is a bit... More

Having booked a 'city break deal' one of the first things we looked at was the hotel that was allocated. Although we weren't expecting the ritz I'll freely admit when I read the reviews on here my heart sank. However we ploughed ahead determined to make the best of what seemed to be a 'bad lot'. But we were about... More

The balcony door was unsecure, the TV reception was poor and the Wifi was also down for most of the first night. Room was clean, bed good and food fine. When I requested a discount for leaving early before breakfast along with the points above, I was simply told "No". Would not recommend or stay here again.

I will say this Guesthouse was in a good location. We took the bus from the airport which dropped us off a street away which was a short walk to the Guesthouse. The staff were not friendly, not helpful in anyway and didn't seem to know anything about the bus route or anything else in the area. The breakfast was... More

I would like to thank all the bad reviews on here for creating a mind set that i was going to be in a crappy hotel. I though it was a great little hotel staff were very friendly, rooms a little dated but comfortable. Yes there is traffic noise but what do you expect from a cheap b and b... More

I wouldn't leave my dogs at the Glen Guesthouse. There was no temperature control in the rooms and the bathroom was dirty. The site advertised wifi, but it only worked in the "lobby", which was a small room with a makeshift desk and a chair. There was no elevator, so we had to drag our bags up four flights of... More
