Stayed at the Hazelbrook House for about a week at the end of July with my mother. We had a single room with a toilet and a shower. The experience was pretty much what I expected. The room was tiny but okay, the bathroom was pretty modern, though the shower leaked a bit. Our window was into the backyard so... More

Positives: 1. The one female staff member as I was checking out of the hotel was extremely helpful and kind. 2. It was within walking distance of transit. As it seems to be on hostel road, it was convenient to meet up with other friends that had been staying at nearby hotels (we flew in for an event). Negatives: 1.... More

We stated one night because it was all that was available . We walked 11 staircases with no help with luggage. The fire alarm went off during the night with no exclamation from staff. The staff was very uninformative and could of been friendlier. No breakfast I would only recommend as a last resort.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Location is fine, though our room was quite noisy because the window was facing the busy road. When keeping the window closed to keep noise outside, temperatures got quite high. Great downside: don't expect any service. We stayed for 2 nights, and saw 4 different people behind the reception desk, who weren't... More

Before booking here, please be warned - the rooms look NOTHING like the images on here. They are no where near as nice or as big. Check in is extremely late (2pm) and even when we came to check in at 2.30pm, they didn't have a room ready for us until 3pm. The room itself was absolutely boiling, no window,... More

Very disappointed with service from reception. Asked to fix the remote control for TV gave me an other one that did not work. TV never tuned in spite telling reception to fix it for two days. No wardrobe, only clothe hangers, no chair, no space on desk, was occupied with small mirror and coffee facilities. Bed was touching the wall,... More

Rooms were ok, need a bit of work done. One battery in remote for TV (should be 2), missing skirting boards, drawer hanging on bedside locker. Beds comfy enough for decent sleep but outside noise from other rooms disturbing. Bathroom clean and shower warm. Great location!

Just finished our stay at Hazelbrook house. We had 2 rooms (one for 2 people and another that could sleep 5). Was easy enough to find as the bus from the airport stopped right across the street and cost 6.25€. We arrived around 8pm. It looked rather shady and desolate (however in morning time the area has lots of people... More

I stayed at the Hazelbrook and although the communal areas are quite tired and the bedroom a bit dated - the cleanliness was excellent and after all that is probably more important than the decor. For a single night - it was inexpensive and adequate. Would I stay there again - probably if I was staying in Dublin for one... More

The location of this guesthouse is great, only a 10 minute walk from the spire. The room itself was nice with the bare essentials and an en suite, so well worth the money for it. The only downfall we had was that the window wouldnt close! The room itself was warm, so having the cool air was nice but it... More
