I stayed in a single room for two nights and it really was a single room. There really wasn't much place to keep luggage but it was ok. The room was clean but my window didn't close properly so it got a bit chilly. There was a heater in my room but it wasn't able to turn it on. Bathroom... More

We stayed for 2 nights in an annex room with our own bathroom. It was very basic & small but really clean and the staff were very helpful. If you're not fussed about where you stay & it's just somewhere to get your head down it's perfect! Really close to O'Connell Street & if you get the bus from the... More

Not good, friendly staff, but my friends were staying in the family room in the basement area and the window wouldn't open and the shower door fell on top of friend when she was having a shower. There is health and safety signs on the doors. Wont be booking here every again. I don't recommend people to stay here its... More

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a private bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, and John was very friendly and a good cook. We felt right at home, and John sang in the kitchen while he prepared breakfast. It is just a short walk from downtown Westport, and John recommended a good place to eat.

Hazelbrook House is a budget city centre hotel and is very convenient for all locaI transport and national rail services. I was travelling solo and had booked a single room but was given a spacious double room, with small adjoining room with shower, toilet and washbasin. I had asked for a quiet room away from street noise but was given... More

We were in town for the PSU/UCF American football match, and by the time we finally booked a place to stay, our options in Dublin were limited. We found the hotel and made our reservations. You pay in full upon your arrival. We got to the hotel around 9am and our room wasn't ready. We checked in and were given... More

I stayed there in August 2012, nice cosy hotel, quiet area but located fine in the center. Room was small but has all basic stuff in it (bath things, kettle, teabags, sugar etc), rather clean but not ideally. The only negative thing was terrible toilet which did not work properly, I consider it as BIG minus.

I stated at Hazelbrook house mid August with my partner. In terms of location, it's ideal. Getting from the Airport to the hotel could not have been easier. Getting off at the stop, the hotel is across the road and had storage for our luggage so we could sight see in the morning. Our room was out in a seperate... More

Myself and my daughter stayed at Hazelbrook House in August 2014 and wasn't quite sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews. We were given a decent sized room on the second floor overlooking Lower Gardiner Street and it was clean and nicely decorated. The en-suite looked new and well maintained and really couldn't pick fault with anything.... More

Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights on Aug 4 & 5. Complained of cold showers to staff but nothing was done either nights - in fact, their maintenance staff stated there was nothing wrong with the shower. It was miserable for our family. Front desk staff was nice but I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
