Expected the worst, however, found it not bad at all. Check-in was fine, no complaints. Room was ok, could have done with a lick of paint. Bathroom looked like new and was clean. Parking the car is around the back and is in a locked garage. Spaces are limited and you have to leave your keys at reception as you... more

Upon arrival at this "hotel", we were very disappointed to discover that it was not a hotel, it was only a B&B so first impressions were knocked down instantly. When we were checking-in in the reception area, we couldnt help notice the "stale/damp" smell. We arrived early at the hotel, approx 11am, and s check-in was not permitted until 2pm,... more

Like many others, I found the Hazelbrook House online and booked a room hoping for the best, but expecting the worse. I was delighted to find out that not only it was very well located (in the middle of the city centre) but the hotel itself was great for such a low rate. Very clean (room, lobby and dining room),... more

on our arrival we were greeted by a cheery member of staff on the reception desk, who said it was policy to pay for accomodation upfront. we soon realised why this was, we were given room 15, although we wanted a double room, room 15 was at best a single & at worst it was a broom cupboard it was... more

We booked this b&b in desperation for somewhere near to the centre and able to accomodate 5 girls needing 3 ensuite twin rooms on a tiny budget and were pleasantly surprised! At £35 a night each inc breakfast we did not have high hopes, but perhaps expecting the worst can be a good thing! This hotel is not the ritz,... more

If you're going for a short stay this hotel is idea, it is located centrally; 5 min walk to town centre, PLENTY of shops and bars nearby. The staff were friendly and always available to help at all hours, lovely clean room and bathroom with good shower. The one and only criticism, if coming for long stay there is no... more

Excellent location for shops, restaurants and shuttle bus to and from the airport. Rooms are nothing like the photos on the website so set your expectations low. The rooms in the annex at the back of the property are cold, shabby, and cramped. But (and its a BIG BUT) if you can get this hotel at a cheap price book... more

Like other reviewers, I arrived at the hotel having reserved a room online, but was told by the woman at the front desk that she couldn't find any record of my reservation. She was very rude to me when she asked me for a printout of my reservation email and I told her I didn't have one. (Granted, I probably... more

Eight of us stayed at the end of July, mainly couples went for the Bohemians v Rhyl Inter Toto cup match. Good location just off Talbot street ideal for waht we wanted. Temple Bar only 15 minutes walk away over the river. Room was clean and breakfast very good, no problems on booking in or out. Would stay there again.... more

I stayed at the Hazelbrook for one Saturday night in June. I shared a twin room with my friend while my girlfriend shared another room with her friend. Upon arrival we approached the 'hotel' and were given directions to the car park. Having eventually found the 'car park' I was alarmed to find it was a back yard which could... more
