At the door we were met by an unfriendly host and a heavy smell of varnish. Our host was not very helpful either she couldn't recommend any places to see, on the bright side the hours is 1min walk from a bus stop that goes directly to town. The room was neat and simple. The heater was only at one... More

I stayed here with my wife for only a night and found the room clean. Even cozy but a bit cramped. It was cold for us: had to use the supplied electric heater to warm the room a little. The staff was very friendly. PROS: near bus stop/private parking; good price; clean; quiet neighborhood; CONS: cramped room; cold (in autumn);... More

I stayed here recently alone, for a couple of nights. It's a basic bnb. Get what you pay for- however I have a few pet peevs.. No toiletries in ensuite, TV in bedroom very old and so small it's difficult to see! Wifi poor. The bed was quite squeeky and the slightest movement would make it screech. The owners close... More

If you are staying in the capital then this is the place to stay- clean, comfortable ,friendly, modern with an amazing private and beautifully appointed designer garden. The bus stop is within 50m of the front door and with regular services every few minutes whether you are going to the city centre or the airport then you could not be better... This is a great, cheap, spotlessly clean and very well serviced B&B. I'm staying here prior to securing a lease in dublin and it has a bus stop outside the door to the right, which brings you into o connell st, georges st, etc. the B&B is very well heated, hot water constantly and guests have access to the kitchen..... Food was good. Rooms were clean staff very helpful. Kathy at front desk was wonderful she made calls for us to the next hotel we were staying at to make sure things were arranged. When our ride to the air port didn't show up the Kathy made arrangements for us. Our driver Dinny was friendly and fun to talk to.

Handle was missing from the window. Window left open when we went beck to our room. The room was cold. The cleanless was OK.The continental breakfast... More

Pleasant and reasonably priced, not plush. The hosts are very accommodating, but stay in another property, so you won't see a lot of them. They will provide you with lots of bus or other information if you need it. Very convenient to bus lines both to airport and city. Careful to get the right place as there is another similarly... If you're going to be busy in Dublin this is a fine place to stay. While it lacks the charm of B&Bs we stayed with in the country, the people are nice, the bed is comfortable and the rooms are clean. the breakfast is over priced for what you get, but there's plenty of places to eat in the city....
