First visited and reviewed 22 February 2013 and yes, this is after anothe 6 Nations Rugby trip. Unfortunately, the England Team failed to turn-up this time! Well done Ireland. Change of ownership since first visit, none the less we found Miceal to be a genial host. Travel Tip, get yourself a Leap Visitor Card.19.50 euros from the Spar shop in Airport... More

all round, a good bnb, geat service, nice rooms and more importantly, very ideally located. I had an issue with the wi-fi in my room but this was resolved very quickly and I moved rooms with no problem at all.

We stayed here for one night while going to a gig in Dublin and were disappointed with our stay. We were greeted upon arrival by a teenage boy who seemed a little out of his depth but to pleasant enough. Payment was requested upon arrival which I was a little put out by. We were paying a very high rate... More

As first time travelers to this beautiful country of Ireland, this place was awfully disappointing and we wouldn't stay here again. It has actually put us off the entire B&B experience. A lone young boy who answered the door bell had no people skills and had no answers to any of my questions. We couldn't even get directions to the... More

Was met by a young man and shown to our ensuite with a bed attached. There was no tea or coffee in the room and no biscuits. The TV was too small and poorly located. The price was far too expensive and if we had other options we would have left. Did not meet any adult and was informed that... More

I booked this property based on tripadvisor ratings and was so disappointed. It is expensive for what it is; breakfast really bad; accommodation very clean but way past its sell by date. The gentleman working there was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms all need refurbishing

Stayed at Ashling House on our last night of touring Ireland, this was the most expensive of all the Hotels/B&Bs that we had stayed in (98 Euros per night) and this does not include breakfast, nor complimentary toiletries, nor biscuits with your tea/coffee. All of which we had been provided with at all our other accommodations. There wasn't anywhere in... More

Stayed here for a football semi final. excellent location for Croke park. Bedroom was lovely overlooking a private garden. Michael the owner was extremely helpful. Private parking also which is a huge benefit . Would definitely recommended.
