I was asked to pay for my room before being shown it - my mistake. Effectively it was a bathroom with a bed in it! Even windows were patterned so you could not see out. Also, they were only single glazed so traffic could be clearly heard. There were only two plugs, one for bed side light and one for... More

Thoroughly disappointed with our stay here. While the room was lovely and clean, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, the window was also broken so I had a draught coming in all night as it was positioned over my bed. We paid €110 for a triple room which did not include breakfast. It's a B&b, you expect breakfast in the price.... More

A B&B with a welcoming owner (Michel), pleasant staff, spacious rooms (which you dont usually get) and a good location for Dublin city centre. Bus stop located right outside for you to take a 10 minute journey into the centre. The room was cleaned daily and maintained with new towels etc... and iron and ironing board was also available on... More

We booked this hotel as it was a great location and great value for a family room. As our flight was going to be arriving Kate i emailed the hotel to let them know and received a reply thanking us. The flight was later than expected but when we arrived we knocked and was greeted by a lady. We explained... More

Good location, about a 10 minute bus ride into Dublin city centre, with the bus stop being just down the road. Nice, simple room, really clean, reasonable price & had good nights sleep. However, we were welcomed by who we think was the owners son as the owners were out. We expected the owners to come and greet us once... More

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ashling House in Dublin. They were helpful and very accommodating when we showed up very early in the morning and they had not received any information on our early arrival. Poor man, we got him out of bed! All in all, the beds were amazingly comfortable and we found... More

It was my first day in Ireland and I had to stay in Dublin before I travel to Galway. I stayed at Ashling House, Dublin. The price I got was reasonable (including breakfast). The manager of the place who's name was Micheal was very nice. He helped me with places nearby to shop for things, good places to eat etc.... More

Ashling House did not have the warm Irish welcome that we experienced everywhere else we stayed in Ireland. I felt a bit like I was intruding in someone else's home, rather than a welcome guest. Our stay was okay but a bit basic. The location was good (close to the bus stop and a short bus ride into town) and... More

Arriving late was no problem. Very nice and clean rooms. A lot of hot water in the shower, (always a bonus with 3 ladys in the room):-). Good variated breakfast. Very kind service from the owners, always ready to help and answer any guestions. Close to the airport and the regular buses stops close to the B&B, and takes you... More

Even though this is Dublin the room was very small for 130 Euros and one had to pay 7 Euro each for breakfast, which only had boiled eggs as a cooked component. Acceptable for crashing out one night but a bit of a disappointment.
