We dropped our rental off a few days early, and decided to use public transit to see Dublin. Kincora Lodge is in an excellent location. A very nice, quiet neighborhood....10 minute walk to a few shops and dining options, 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a 10 minute bus ride into the heart of the city (just a... More

We loved this B&B. The owners were helpful, considerate and their cooking wasn't half bad, either! A bus ride away from the city centre and located in a peaceful neighborhood the only noise at night was kids playing soccer in the street. Wonderful!

We stayed for three nights at the beginning of August; the proprietor Paul and his wife were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble (calling taxis, providing local information, getting an iron and ironing board for me to use, etc.). We especially appreciated the map he had created of Clontarf and its restaurants, pubs and amenities, and we... More

This was our first trip to Dublin for a long weekend and was made all the more pleasurable by our stay at Kincora Lodge. This may not suite everyone as it is about 4 miles to the north of the city but the bus service is excellent and my husband and I enjoyed the experience as we did not take... More

I was traveling with my 18 year old daughter and we had a fabulous stay at the Kincora. From the time we checked in, Paul could not have been more helpful, informative, and genuinely kind. We had trouble with our ATM card, and he did everything in his power to come to our aid! The accommodations were spacious, clean, updated,... More

This was our first trip to Ireland and had read from many resources to avoid taking a car into Dublin. Kincora Lodge was located in a quiet residental area and only a 3 minute walk to the bus line. Our room was spacious and spotless. Paul, the proprietor, greeted us and gave us a Dublin map and suggested an itinerary... More

We stayed 5 nights at the Kincora Lodge, Clontarf, and were bowled over by the incredibly warm welcome we received. Paul, the owner, took time out to show us the location of the B&B in relation to local amenities/ attractions in Clontarf and lots of useful information on how to get around Dublin during our stay. The room was extremely... More

I've been at the Kincora Lodge in Dublin last june and it was simply great. I write only now because I did'nt know tripadvisor. No words can describe the kindness of Michael and his wife, who welcomed us in their house like old friends. Our room was great, on the ground floor, facing the quiet road, with big and bright...
