Absolutely love this traditional Irish "real" pub. No fancy stuff here! Relaxed atmosphere with an open fire during the colder months.Perfect to experience some real Irish "craic" away from the madness of Temple Bar. Perfect location on Stephen's Green too. A must visit!

good service and great atmosphere in this old Dublin pub.The Sunday afternoon Jammin session was of a high standard, relaxed and varied. The bar served a limited menu which was tasty and inexpensive helping to soak up the guinness.Greatly enjoyed our experience.Thanks.

And NOT gone here! It's traditional but still raw & not touristy. Table service, top quality Guinness, friendly staff and clientele & a warm red lit side cavern for smokers that doesn't bother the no smokers. The traditional fiddley-dee music is in the back ground but not irritating, so if you like a pint of the black stuff, a trip... More

This pub is pretty similar priced to others in the area, and has a great atmosphere. Lots of friendly locals hanging around with some tourists but not many. Very traditional fun Irish pub. Expands on the weekend so that its bigger, can get pretty crowded, but on the weekends with the expansion they have two bars so it isn't that... More

Pretty good Guinness pour, the bathrooms were clean, free wi-fi...a solid pub. Also has a good street view for people watching. Nice and not obnoxious bar like the ones in Temple Bar area. Let the gals shop nearby while you enjoy a pint or two :-)

What a fabulous pub! - We were staying in a hotel very near to Temple Bar and a taxi driver recommended that we give this pub a try after we asked him about better bars/pubs to go to (Temple Bar was so busy with tourists). We arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and found a good table in the 'outside'... More

A real Irish pub in the heart of Dublin. Good music, good people, good craic. An old school pub you have to visit if you are in town. Perfect beer, great live traditional music. This pub is famous for being the Dubliner's favourite pub. You will love it.
