Pretty good Guinness pour, the bathrooms were clean, free wi-fi...a solid pub. Also has a good street view for people watching. Nice and not obnoxious bar like the ones in Temple Bar area. Let the gals shop nearby while you enjoy a pint or two :-)

What a fabulous pub! - We were staying in a hotel very near to Temple Bar and a taxi driver recommended that we give this pub a try after we asked him about better bars/pubs to go to (Temple Bar was so busy with tourists). We arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and found a good table in the 'outside'... More

A real Irish pub in the heart of Dublin. Good music, good people, good craic. An old school pub you have to visit if you are in town. Perfect beer, great live traditional music. This pub is famous for being the Dubliner's favourite pub. You will love it.

One of many atmospheric wooden panelled pubs in Dublin, consisting of several bars and a large heated courtyard. Live music on several nights each week, and good beer. Cannot comment on room or the food menu.

I stayed at O'Donoghue's while I was in Dublin. I chose it because of it's location close to St. Stephen's Green. From the minute I arrived, I felt welcome. I had help with my bags, and directions to anywhere I needed to go. The room was a bit on the older side, but very comfortable. The wi-fi was sketchy, but... More

This may not be a posh, modern hotel but its clean, comfortable, in a great location and is very good value for money. O'Donoghue's is an extremely busy and lively pub set on a busy main road, so I was expecting to hear a lot of noise but my top floor room was surprisingly quiet and just a faint din... More

What an awesome place! Perfect location! Awesome pub that is lively, friendly and quaint! Live music, great food and comfortable rooms. There were 6 of us traveling together and as long as you can manage a !!few!! stairs, this is the place. The pub was the perfect place for us to gather for a pint or meet up in the... More

Stopped in here for a pint of the blackstuff with some friends also from London. What a pub what an atmosphere loved everything about it. Espacally the authentic Irish music being played, the guys even took a request from my partner made her night. Fantastic pub.
