Good Guinness, good barmen, ticks all the boxes! Very central to all Dublin has to offer, great place to see a session of music would recommend to all looking for a proper pub. Love the cubby hole at the smoking section makes ordering very easy!

My family and I enjoyed our overnight stay at O'Donoghues. The accommodations were clean and the bed was comfortable. There is no breakfast included and ear plugs are highly recommended. The bar staff were exceptionally friends and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are clean and bathroom is adequate. Shower is quite tiny. There was the expected amount of noise from the street but as soon as the pubs closed it was quite quiet. Location is terrific! Close to buses, safe neighborhood, easy to get to attractions, very lively nightlife in a good way! The pub downstairs is... More

We stayed here 2 nights in 2 different rooms, and were not very happy. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the place. The rooms very average, but in one room the coldwater tap was broken. Very steep and narrow stairs leading to the rooms, with difficult acces with big suitcases. No chance to cansel once booked.

We booked this hotel for our long weekend in Dublin. It was in very good location, close to the buses from the airport and to the city centre (5-10 minutes walk). The room was spacious, clean and warm, however the bathroom was tiny, it had the smallest shower I have seen in my life. Despite that we would have very... More

My granddaughter found this place and booked out rooms. I don't thing they had been renting rooms long at the time because every time we took a taxi back, the driver ALWAYS said, "I didn't know O'Donoghue's did rooms!" We had a rather steep two floor climb to our room and I really felt sorry for the young man who... More

Location is excellent. In the upper class neighborhood we could reach everything within minutes. Rooms newly painted and very clean. Very friendly owners and of course the pub is a must do. Convenience store right across the street and a other pub with excellent food. The restaurants are expensive but well worse it. The pub is busy every day. If... More

We popped in for one pint of the black stuff and ended up stopping the night because the irish music was just perfect. Thanks guys for making our stay in Dublin a happy one. (Mixture of irish music) perfect. Please go and visit this lovely pub. Ann UK

I really enjoyed this Hotel. We had 2 nights over a weekend and the noise was not that bad, we did stay at the pub until closing time - which helps! The 2nd night was a little different, i was definitley more aware of the annoying Taxis at 3am beeping their horns, but overall the room was large, clean, comfortable... More

Expected a lot of noise from pub, traffic and drunks but the reality was worse....bed was comfortable, though and room surprisingly big. The doctors that claim VD can't be obtained from lavatory seats have not seen the one in room 7....it must contain germs from everything from The Plague to leprosy....to the landlord: Please buy a new one, they cost...
