Very comfortable room, wonderful location near Trinity College. Spar across street for food and wine etc. Pub noisy at night but one does not stay in a pub and expect quiet. Great price for location and friendly service. Highly recommend but not for those who cannot handle some stairs!

When you arrive you pick up your key from the bartender and make your way upstairs to your room. Let me be clear, this is not like staying at the Shelbourne Hotel down the street, but it works. Besides, if you stay at the Shelbourne you'll be spending your evenings at O'Donoghue's listening to live music, and mixing with the... More

We stopped in here for dinner after a long day of touring Dublin. We had to sit upstairs by ourselves, as the downstairs sitting area was full. The service was friendly, the food was good and we even got to enjoy some live entertainment. This was a nice end to a long day.

Stayed here with two friends on our last night of vacation. What a great choice it was. First we get there to check in. We are greeted by Kevin. He tells us to relax, have a seat and a drink and he will bring our bags to our room. We relax until we want to go freshen up. This is... More

Good Guinness, good barmen, ticks all the boxes! Very central to all Dublin has to offer, great place to see a session of music would recommend to all looking for a proper pub. Love the cubby hole at the smoking section makes ordering very easy!

My family and I enjoyed our overnight stay at O'Donoghues. The accommodations were clean and the bed was comfortable. There is no breakfast included and ear plugs are highly recommended. The bar staff were exceptionally friends and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are clean and bathroom is adequate. Shower is quite tiny. There was the expected amount of noise from the street but as soon as the pubs closed it was quite quiet. Location is terrific! Close to buses, safe neighborhood, easy to get to attractions, very lively nightlife in a good way! The pub downstairs is... More

We stayed here 2 nights in 2 different rooms, and were not very happy. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the place. The rooms very average, but in one room the coldwater tap was broken. Very steep and narrow stairs leading to the rooms, with difficult acces with big suitcases. No chance to cansel once booked.

We booked this hotel for our long weekend in Dublin. It was in very good location, close to the buses from the airport and to the city centre (5-10 minutes walk). The room was spacious, clean and warm, however the bathroom was tiny, it had the smallest shower I have seen in my life. Despite that we would have very... More

My granddaughter found this place and booked out rooms. I don't thing they had been renting rooms long at the time because every time we took a taxi back, the driver ALWAYS said, "I didn't know O'Donoghue's did rooms!" We had a rather steep two floor climb to our room and I really felt sorry for the young man who... More
