My wife and I with fellow travellers were booked into the Travelodge from Friday 4th April until Tuesday 8th April. Upon arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room on the 2nd floor looked out onto the main street which was very busy but most of the noise was blanked out by the double glazing, however when open... More

Dear WiggleOxford, Thank you for review of Travelodge Rathmines. It is great to read that you found the staff both Friendly and helpful. I am disappointed to hear that you had problems with your shower and mattress. It is a pity that you did not inform us during your stay to resolve these issues. I take on board your comments... More

What a lovely friendly hotel in Dublin not far from the city centre. We would definately come here to stay again as even though it was cheap, it didn't look or seem cheap. The staff are lovely and if there is a problem at any time it gets resolved immediately. If you get a taxi from the airport then you... More

This hotel is not as close to the city centre as it claims.....it is at least an 8euro taxi ride. On arrival we went to our room to freshen up, started the shower ( which was a very old model not temperature controlled , just set on the bath taps) climbed into the bath a started to wash. Suddenly the... More

Hotel is good enough for a night or 2 with friends. I wouldn't pick this hotel for me and my girlfriend to stay at but with friends for a night out in Dublin it is adequate. Not too far from Temple Bar. Taxis are quite expensive though. Cost about €70 from airport to hotel. Rooms are spacious, not exactly modern... More

Budget Hotel in a nice and quiet area not too far from City Center; very helpful staff; various restaurants & supermarket close by, bus stop at the doorstep. Rooms a Little small but ok for a few days

This hotel is grim! The service was slow from what could only be described as emotionless drones. There is NOT wifi available in this hotel at all. The room I stayed in smelt like a smoker had been living in there, the beds were old and smaller than average single beds and the bathroom was poorly laid out as well... More

I stayed for valentines weekend with 2 other couples. Rooms were very basic and need updating/replacing. Our bed was dipped on one side and all the slates underneath were broken so we paid for a double room but only had a single bed which had a blood stain on the duvet which we realised the morning we left. The windows... More

Before going into detail, I have to say that for a hotel which cost us an average of £31 per night, this is very good value. We stayed 25-28th January 2014. We arrived much earlier than we expected at 13:00. With check-in advertised as not available until 15:00 we phoned to ask if there was any chance we could check-in... More

Booked the room via a third party website (Laterooms) for 61 Euro. When we arrived we were informed we were now being charged 81 Euro!! They hadn't sent us a booking confirmation - I'd rang that day to confirm the booking had gone through. Didn't realise I had to double check the price! To make it worse, if we'd booked... More

Dear hchamilton I have contacted Laterooms directly who have told me that they did issue you with a confirmation of the reservation when the booking was made and after reviewing your transcripts none of the Laterooms staff commented on the receptionist at the desk being able to rectify the matter. The rate of €81 which you agreed upon when making... More

Okay the rooms are a bit basic but this hotel offers great value for money as it's close to the city centre. Our room was spacious, clean and warm! The staff were very attentive when needed. We also got to leave our bags and cases in the hotel six hours after our check out as our flight home wasn't until... More
