The hotel is nothing fancy, but my room was large, with a good shower and comfortable bed. The location was a short walk from my conference at Trinity - past nice cafes and restaurants. The first staff member who greeted me on check in was a bit rude, but everyone else I met was lovely, helpful and friendly. For the... More

My wife and I came up from County Wexford to see a production at the National Concert Hall ('Kathleen Ferrier - My Life in Music' with Raphaela Mangan, Contralto, and Nigel Kinsella, Piano. It was excellent only Raphaela is a mezzo-soprano. Ferrier had a glorious contralto voice - perhaps the best ever heard. No matter). Anyway, we wanted somewhere central... More

St Stephen's Green Travelodge is perfect for any tourist who wishes to be right in the centre of everything. So many of the top tourist attractions are within a 15 minute walk and the Hotel is also very near St Stephens Green where all of the tour buses stop. The Hotel itself is very outdated. Our first room was very... More

Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, full Irish breakfast a must. Close to Grafton St., Luas, buses, 5 minute walk to River Liffey and O'Connell St., good value for money. Only negative, café/bar closes early but not really a problem given the café/bars that are nearby.

The Travelodge Saint Stephens Green is a clunky old hotel in need of some love. However, the location is excellent for those wanting to be right in the heart of Dublin, the car parking arrangements in the adjoining shopping centre work well and the staff are worthy of special mention - they are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient.

John, Thank you for your recent review, it was lovely to meet you both and I hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip. The hotel itself is new to Travelodge Ireland and we will be working on changing it to suit the brand in the near future. The hotel itself is centrally located, and in a quiet location... More

The Travelodge at Stephen's Green in Dublin is about the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was dirty, air conditioning does not work, curtains off the rail, batcroom accessories almost off the wall, stuffy and dirty room, noise levels from inside the hotel and outside were dreadful. Staff indifferent. Bloody awful in fact - and overpriced by a... More

I stayed here as I was taking my grandaughter to see a concert, on arriving I was told that they had no room for us even though the room was booked months earlier and I had the email on my phone with the comfirmation for 24th and 25th may. The girl at reception was really helpful and got the room... More

Location is excellent if you want to go to the Gaiety theatre or Stephen's Green shopping centre. Hotel very average, a bit tired and shabby with stained carpets in hall and bedroom. Have no illusions, It is budget accommodation. Receptionist quite pleasant and helpful when I checked in around 2.30 ( not her fault that the SMALL reception area was... More

Four of us (2 couples) stayed here for one night and agreed we would return again without hesitation. Lucy, Thank you for your kind words. The staff and I were delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us.
