This is a no-frills hotel that is conveniently located. If you are looking for a place to rest your head after a day of walking around, this should fit the bill nicely. If you are looking for a spa-like hotel experience, this is not the place for you. It is located about a block away from St. Stephen's Green and... More

Stayed here overnight for a one nighter in Dublin. Nothing overly wrong with a Travelodge. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it had a cafe / bar attached to it which was good value for money ( full Irish Breakfast for 7.5 Euros). But.....whilst the room was clean, and had a kettle and usual tea and coffe makings, there... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of July for the AC/DC Concert at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The TL is being refurbished and we stayed in the newly refurbished rooms on the top floor (5). Room was very nice and very clean. It was particularly hot those few days and when we asked for a fan for... More

Here are the reasons why I don't recommend this hotel or use it again : - price of 100€/night isn't good value for money in this place - free Internet only in the lounge, you have to pay extra to use Internet in the room. - rooms are very average and unexciting - cleaning ladies started to vacuum before 7am... Cheap 2 night stay was purchased for me and my mother- we stayed room only. Breakfast was €7 each extra but we choose not to take it as it was just the normal hotel breakfasts instead we went done the street and into a café. Receptionists were extremely helpful, corridors are an odd shape with a lot doors to open... More

Hotel was fine for the price. Room was clean and private, the windows opened for plenty of fresh air and the bed was comfortable. Restaurant downstairs had loud rock music playing at breakfast. Great location close to shopping and sights. Homeless people begging money on the street outside the hotel were a bit annoying.

Appreciate that hotel is undergoing refurbishment but would have nice to have been informed of this when booking rather than checking in to find out. The room was terrible, we were on the 5th floor, ridiculously hot room with air conditioning that we were told didn't work. Light fittings hanging from the wall and furniture with handles missing, broken tiles... More

I used to stay on a regular basis in the Travelodge St.Stephens Green. I booked into stay again but the price had quadruped, when queried they said they were upgrading the rooms. So in my upgraded room the air conditioning doesn't work and I'm yet to see what has been upgraded, that could justify such an increase. The bathroom is... More

I have to echo the opinions of many other reviewers: the location is excellent, but the hotel could do with little improvements. However, I felt OK staying there for three nights. As we arrived there was a problem with signing-in: I had booked an accessible room through their website, but apparently it was a wheelchair room (although I had contacted... More

We stay in Travelodges quite often but were rather disappointed with this one. The sheet didn't fit the bed and the duvet cover was torn. The bath had some of the enamel chipped off. Having said that the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower warm and powerful, which is what we wanted. A bonus was the lovely... More
