We stayed here for a couple nights before heading west to Killarney. It is an affordable place to stay if you want to be near the heart of Dublin. The rooms are small, the pillows are hard and it's very noisy outside. Every night around 3 or 4 am the people partying downstairs in the bar poured out into the... More

I didn't know when I booked, but there's a pub on the ground floor of the hotel - which I loved! I was there just one night (a Monday) and they had two guys playing an acoustic set of some Irish and other just pop tunes. They engaged the crowd in some light banter between songs - it's maybe cliche,... More

We stayed at O'Shea's after missing the ferry to Wales due to an "idjit" taxi driver taking us to the wrong dock. Long story. Anyway, he dropped us off at O'Shea's. Staff at the front were quite good with their humour and understanding of a difficult situation. Room was small, but clean. Very close to City Centre. Pub downstairs was... More

Rooms are basic, a bit dated, but clean. The hotel has a good overall location that allows you to get out and walk to key areas that you would most likely want to see. Also, a bonus was the live music. Our first night arriving we actually went down to have a drink and stayed on until the band was... More

Stayed here for one night after a concert at a nearby venue. Had a lovely time. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food is good quality and plentiful. Good rooms - comfortable and adequately equipped. Good Irish traditional music is played every night. A good fun place to stay in an historical but fun city.

We stopped by Saturday morning after traveling for hours to get to Dublin for the One Direction concert and fell in love with the places. The menu and music was all 1D which really got us hyped for the concert. We ordered and lovely fry up and were happy out. Reasonable prices. Staff were nice too. We returned Sunday morning... More

The hotel is quite small and cosy. Rooms are clean and the location is really good. Shopping streets close by and nice pubs around. Hotel bar is really nice but the kitchen doesn't seem to be too well ventilated and you smell like french fries after a sit-down with a pint or two. Nice live music in the evenenings but... More

Called in to this place for a drink while out in Dublin on a Friday night. Never experienced anything like it. It was like walking into an old Western Movie. Staff were the most unfriendly I came across, especially the bar man. Used the toilet which was filthy and then left.
