A cosy character hotel and bar/restaurant which is very well situated for the bus station, shopping etc. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. We stayed in the family room 126 which was the only room left to us, such is the hotel's popularity. The room was very clean, warm and two separate bedrooms on the third floor - lift... More

Didn't stay in the hotel but went there last week for dinner and pints with friends. Very impressed. I've never been there although I passed by hundreds of times. Very cozy pub and restaurant. Had dinner and a pint and the food was surprisingly very much fantastic, I have to admit it was the best pub food I had for... More

We did not stay in this hotel but went to the bar for a night out. With a great pint of Guinness and live entertainment playing traditional Irish music. ......what a great night out. Highly recommended.

Myself and my husband stayed here 21-23nov 14. We arrived very early in the morning and we were able to check in when we arrived which was fantastic. We were checked in by a nice guy named Robbie. He was very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay, an absolute credit to the hotel team. The pub area was lovely along... More

A really nice hotel with a very Irish atmosphere, We liked the Staff, Rooms were Quaint, the food was well cooked and plenty of it, this hotel is extremely close to the centre of Dublin, Remember to close the window at night as it reduces the noise coming from the streets below considerably We would certainly come back and book... Six of us stayed the night on a budget tour while visiting Dublin for an international rugby game. It was as advertised. The rooms were clean, but a little noisy from the street outside. The shower was a little small, so anyone with above average dimensions would find them a challenge. The breakfast the next morning was good.

I really didn't like this hotel. Food was not nice. Too salty. Not great presentation. It was overpriced but plentiful. It's just a pity you wouldn't want it. No variety in breakfast options. Coffee freezing and thick like tar and the worst tasting coffee I have ever tasted. Bacon was raw, Egg brown underneath, Sausage raw. Toast never turned up,... More

Located on Talbot Street about half way between Connolly Station and O'Connell Street, you couldn't ask for a more central location on the north side of the Liffey. Downstairs in the bar/restaurant areas, O'Sheas gives the impression of not having changed much in decades. Upstairs, the bedrooms clearly have been upgraded, en suite shower room, flat screen TV etc. Though,... More
