A really nice hotel with a very Irish atmosphere, We liked the Staff, Rooms were Quaint, the food was well cooked and plenty of it, this hotel is extremely close to the centre of Dublin, Remember to close the window at night as it reduces the noise coming from the streets below considerably We would certainly come back and book... Six of us stayed the night on a budget tour while visiting Dublin for an international rugby game. It was as advertised. The rooms were clean, but a little noisy from the street outside. The shower was a little small, so anyone with above average dimensions would find them a challenge. The breakfast the next morning was good.

I really didn't like this hotel. Food was not nice. Too salty. Not great presentation. It was overpriced but plentiful. It's just a pity you wouldn't want it. No variety in breakfast options. Coffee freezing and thick like tar and the worst tasting coffee I have ever tasted. Bacon was raw, Egg brown underneath, Sausage raw. Toast never turned up,... More

Located on Talbot Street about half way between Connolly Station and O'Connell Street, you couldn't ask for a more central location on the north side of the Liffey. Downstairs in the bar/restaurant areas, O'Sheas gives the impression of not having changed much in decades. Upstairs, the bedrooms clearly have been upgraded, en suite shower room, flat screen TV etc. Though,... More

You can't visit Dublin without visiting this hotel. It's a wonderful experience of traditional Irish music at its best. You will find a cosmopolitan feel to the place as every nationality visits there and its great to hear all the multi lingual languages. You can't help but join in the singing as the atmosphere is so enjoyable. We stayed here... More

I stayed a few nights. My room was small with two twin beds. This is an urban hotel room, with auto traffic noise at all hours, and in a tourist location, with people walking and talking along the side walk. Since I am an urban adventurer I do not need a large room, just enough to sleep and shower. The... More

I had a few friends visiting dublin and staying close by and they happened to be in the bar of this hotel where I met them. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the menu. A reasonable choice at value prices. I have chicken curry, friends had lasagne, pie and other dishes. All hearty and tasty.... More
