The food was amazing , couldnt fault it! The room was just as good , it wasnt a 5* room but that made the stay feel more homely ! Would defo stay again in my next visit!! The staff were really friendly! There was live music in the bar every night which meant we didnt have to travel to find... More

It's a really nice place to go. Very friendly staff, good food and great music to listen to. The price for a room is also quite ok, rooms are very nice and clean! O'Shea's is located very near to O'Connell Street, so you can really walk most of the distances.

It was my first time to Ireland and Dublin was my first stop. A friend recommended this place for food and drinks and I'm so glad she did. I had all the traditional dishes and the Guinness Meat pie was spectacular. The barmen made me laugh on the regular and waitresses were very attentive. We lucked out and went on... More

We stayed at this hotel for one of the Ed Sheeran concerts and had a wonderful time. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with great warmth from Declan who didn't mind a bit of Dublin Meath banter!! I was so hungry after a long journey from Clare so we decided to eat in the restaurant. Our waitress... More

The breakfast was terrible. I had full Irish and it was over cooked and dried out.My boyfriend got poached eggs and they were hard boiled poached eggs. The toast wasn't toasted and in all a terrible breakfast.

The Hotel is very friendly, but the rooms are small in a Georgian style typical of Dublin. The Rooms are clean, but there is quite a bit of noise from the main streets below, the Hotel is on a busy crossroad, thus the noise. On the plus side the bar is great and very friendly often with live music playing.... More

Good things about O'Shea's - It's in a great location to explore the city, The bar has a great atmosphere, They provide secure underground carparking (at an extra charge), The breakfast was reasonable, We were able to leave our bags after check out so we could explore & one of the receptionists when checking out (we dealt with 2) was... This was our last port of call before heading back to the USA after a couple of weeks in Europe. It wasn't our first choice but the hotels I had previously stayed in close to the center were fully booked. This was about the same price and overall about the same quality and what you would expect from a 2... More

It's a b&b make no mistake, but it's clean and friendly while still having that 80's dated umm 'charm' feel about it (think flower patterned carpets). Shower was decent and breakfast was good. Road noise could be annoying if you're a light sleeper and you need the window open. Location is excellent 5min walk from the centre.
