Multi level terrace house beautifully set up as a B&B. We were welcomed by Bernadette with a cup of tea and freshly made scones with homemade jam - almost as good as the hot shower after the long trip from Australia. Azalea is situated on the main road into Dublin from the north so there is a lot of road... More

We stayed at the Azalea Lodge for two nights while in Dublin. We did not rent a car while we were there, but took the bus straight from the airport. The bus stop drops you right across the street from this B+ B. If you want to go to downtown Dublin, simply jump back on the bus. It couldn't have... More

B&B is a beautifully restored Victorian house with comfortable beds, and the fluffiest towels in Ireland!!! Bernadette and Porraic were the most welcoming B&B owners in our whole trip to the Emerald Isle. We would look forward to Bernadette's homemade scones every day - they were the best! Fresh fruit salad every morning began our yummy breakfast. Rooms were comfortable... More

This is a good choice of B&B in Dublin, it's in a nice location and the grounds around the B&B are nice with a pretty patio area. The hosts are lovely and friendly and provide all the information you'd need to find your way into town using the public transport. The next time I visit Dublin I may look for... More

We only stayed one night before coming back to the USA, but we enjoyed it very much. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable, and our hosts couldn't be nicer! Although it is a bit far from the CBD, public transportation is nearby and runs frequently. We had to leave for the airport prior to normal breakfast time, but... More

The Azalea Lodge is a very attractive spot. Bernadette and Pat are wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless, the linens first-class. Despite calling it a B & B, a full hot breakfast is an upcharge. Parking is easy. We loved having a glass of wine on their very private, flower-laden patio area. Bernadette and Pat provided us with all the... More

We had a one night stay in the Lodge and enjoyed it very much,Pat and his wife were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a very nice up market Irish breakfast, which we now love. Just down the road,is a pub that has live plays usually three players, very irish but great value for 10 euro, and... More

We stayed in this comfortable B&B for just one night and it was as promoted. The room was very nice - wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the linen and comfortable beds. There are good places to eat nearby and the breakfast was a delight for our first day in Ireland. The scones and tea on arrival were also... More

We were very happy with our stay at Azalea Lodge. After a long day driving and carrying on to explore Glendalough we arrived feeling tired to a very warm welcome from Bernadette. She invited us to sit outside in her pretty garden with a lovely cup of tea and fresh scones with delicious home made raspberry jam...yum! Bernadette provided us... More
