I am just home after an 1 night stay at the Maldron. We were 1 adult and 2 kids. I could nt fault this hotel, check in was very smooth and quick, we were early arrivals but we were allocated a room straight away. Room was standard, what you would expect. There were tea/coffee making facilities available in room, along... More

I stayed here with my sone when he took me to Dublin as a birthday present (he knows I love the place). As he was paying, I suggested he look for a deal on a hotel to get a good price, rather than specify an area and pay through the nose. He subsequently booked through Booking.com and got this hotel... We stayed in Dublin for two nights over easter weekend. Ireland basically shuts down on good Friday so you can't go many places. We had dinner and drinks in our hotel and it was excellent. They had a prix fix menu that was delicious and a great value for the prices. You could order drinks as long as you were... More

I decided to visit Dublin on a two day citybreak. I would like to thank Maldron for their great hospitality. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All staff made effort to be friendly and polite. The only major downside of this hotel is the location. It is about 15 to 20 minute walk to the city centre. I found that... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night with my family. The hotel did everything it needed to. The room was well furnished and comfortable. There was still plenty of room - even with two extra beds for children. Breakfast was extensive and well cooked. A very enjoyable experience. Wifi was included free of charge - again a bonus compared... More

Stayed 1 night recently. Check in very efficient. Staff polite & helpful. Room standard. Pillows a bit on hard side. Ate in bar where food was good. Have to say quality of Guinness was very poor. Poured straight into glass & presented simultaneously with pint of lager ! Charging €5+ For a pint I expect to at least have drink... More

Pros: 1. Hotel was busy, lots of people using the restaurant, everywhere looked nice. 2. About a 5 minute drive away from Temple Bar in a taxi, that is the place to be for your weekend's social activities! Cracking Saturday night! 3. An Airporter bus arrives outside the hotel every hour 24/7 to take you to Dublin International, very handy.... More

There's something special about The Maldron, Cardiff Lane and it's not just the the comfortable rooms, or the great food, or the pool, or the wi-fi, or the location or even the regular and quiet super efficient lifts....it's quite simply...the staff! Every member of staff is obviously trained to treat you as though you're the only guest in the hotel!!... More

If you don't mind (or want to be!) near the Docklands, this hotel is very handy. Staff at check in were excellent and very helpful, room large ( though not luxury); swimming pool and gym were great; breakfast fine if a bit of madhouse. Overall good value for money.
