I had to move to Dublin for the summer out of the blue for work and stayed here for over two months. I stayed in the self catering section and had a great time staying there. The owners were a delight and I got on really well with them and they even had a barbecue for all the guests at... more

We had never visited Ireland before, so didn't have many expectations. Upon arrival at Botanic View, we were met with what the people of Ireland are all about: friendliness and genuine hospitality. I can't say enough about Bernadette. She made us feel welcome right away, offering tea or coffee and then the key to our room so we could take... more

Since 2005 I visit the Botanic View every year, this year for the fifth time. Great location in a quiet street, nearby a cheap supermarket and good Public Transport connections to city centre (10 mins by bus). The B&B has been refurbished and while it was already great, it is even better now! Nice quiet clean rooms, good showers, very... more

Stayed for three nights in August 2009. Superb hospitality with clean and spacious accommodation with great value for money. In relation to the location, it is a short bus ride (10 minutes max.) to the city centre, so taxi fares will not cost the earth should you choose to return later than planned. With reference to the latter, you are... more

We happened to come into Dublin the same weekend that U2 was playing so finding a place to stay had been very difficult. We booked the Botanic View not knowing what to expect. The host and hostess were very friendly and offered us tea when we arrived. It was great b/c it allowed us to get some directions and a... more

We spent 4 nights at Botanic View. The quad room was small (for 4 people) and the bathroom not so well equipped. All was a bit decrepit in the room and the beds could have been better. However I feel that Botanic View is worth it. We had a vast kitchen and dining room with a tv set, that we... more

It is a nice B&B. The owner was very helpful and gave us great hints for further travelling. There are many buses to the city center, so it is not difficult to reach the center within 10 minutes. It is only 1 minute to walk from the bus station. We would stay there again. more

My wife, 3 young adult kids, parents, and I stayed at the Botanic View B&B for 3 nights at the end of our 2 week trip to Ireland. The Botanic View and its owners made our trip to Dublin a very good one. Bernie and her fiance PJ were very warm and gracious hosts during our stay. We had great... more

Botanic View B&B was the perfect finale for our two-week trip to Ireland. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet (past concerns about traffice noise don't appear relevant to this new location down the road), but what truly made the experience so wonderful was getting to know Bernie and P.J. who took care of us above and beyond all expectations.... more

The B&B is run by Bernie Ryan, who is very efficient, caring, a great cook, and has a wealth of information to make your stay in Dublin a memorable event. The B&B has a large kitchen with all the amenities and even a wash machine. Each floor has a blow dryer for guests' use. B&B is within walking distance of... more
