I traveled there with my wife for 4 nights. We had a great time, the accommodations are clean and practical, the breakfasts are fantastic ! You can walk to town in about 20 minutes (I would recommend walking by the canal in the morning, it is always a great experience). There are many buses nearby that can take you to... More

A simple clean room, with all you need for a trip in Dublin. Near to the pubblic transport and quite near to the Center of Dublin. The managers are very friendly and availables. Great break fast. Final evaluation, very good.

Having just returned from a 3 month visit to Ireland during which my son and I spent a total of 70 nights at the wonderful Botanic View, I am very pleased to say that this....our home in Dublin...is still just as great a place to stay as it was when we did a similar trip 3 years ago and, for... I stayed here on a Saturday night because there was no availability in the hostel, where I had been paying E17/night. I paid E50.00 for a single ensuite room. It's cash only. I arrived, and discovered that despite the 'WiFi zone' symbol on the webpage, there was absolutely NO WiFi in the rooms at all, and in the common room,... More

I regret to note that you were disappointed in your stay with us but I cannot let your review go unanswered. The average B & B price for a single en suite in Dublin IS 50 euro and upwards and indeed many properties do not offer 1 night accommodation at weekends. I happened to have a gap in my bookings... Six of us stayed at Botanic View in June 2014 as a 5 day stop on a golf trip. Besides suitable accommodations, the best part of the stay was Bernie and PJ. What great hosts! Along with being friendly, Bernie was especially helpful in recommending restaurants, pubs, and sight-seeing. She gave us the run-down when we first arrived and was... More

We found the Botanic View B&B after combing through many TripAdvisor reviews. Confirming our reservation with Bernadette was very easy, and she provided us with lots of useful tips on everything from taxi fare from the airport (don't let them overcharge you!), to things to see and do with our kids both close to the B&B and in Dublin. We... More

Bernie and PJ are great hosts in a quiet neighborhood a five minute walk to the Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin Cemetery and "Gravedigger's" pub. All are worthy of a visit. Other restaurants are also nearby, but breakfast is big and hearty, so you can probably skip lunch. Buses are easy into the city center, and a cab back (should you want... More

Botanic was a great spot for our overnight stay in Dublin. The owners had good recommendations for local restaurants and were very accommodating. We were three adults and a 3 year old staying in the family room, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Me and my husband have visited Dublin 4 days in September and our stay in Botanic View B&B truly enhanced our vision of the city. We left with warm memories of immense kindness, sincere passion for making the guests feel right at home and great quality in all services provided, as well in the accommodation itself. Bernie is definitely the... More

We had a very good stay at the Botanic View which is in nice location which is within walking distance of the city centre. A warm welcome and excellent breakfasts were provided. A real bonus is the kitchen provided for residents. It is an excellent base for exploring Dublin.
