I've had the pleasure of frequenting the Beacon Hotel on three occasions over the last month. We have had training sessions in one of their fabulous corporate suites. The food at MyThai is exceptional and always served on time, I've also tried the infamous Teddy's Icecream. Wayne is the most helpful member of staff

Myself and my partner stayed here from 21st - 23rd July 2015. Having read the reviews on TA and other sites, our expectations were very high. Reservation/Check-in/Bedroom Our reservation was made on the hotel's website and was seamless and easy. The female check-in agent at the front desk was friendly, professional and welcoming. A good start to our stay! In... More

For my Fiancees birthday we decided to go to Dublin for the weekend. Thinking Dundrum shopping centre would be a good shopping stop for her, I was looking for something conviently close. I came across this hotel on tripadvisor and seen a number of good reviews, so i book it. And I am glad I did. From the minute we... More

Recently stayed here with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. The girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful and they checked is in quickly, we had a room on the 5th floor which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and comfortable with loads of pillows and a lovely soft duvet. The bathroom was... More

Stayed here on Saturday night as we were going to Ed Sheerin at Croke Park and The Beacon was half the price of the Dublin City Centre hotels and yet it was just as good, if not better than some. The service was excellent, the rooms (we stayed in a Deluxe double) are stunning - all crips white and modern,... More

Booked by my travel agent on a business trip, I was surprised when I saw the hotel. Very modern, with extravagant artsy décor (both in common space and in my room).. not your usual business hotel... When I got past the surprise of the unexpected décor, the stay was pleasant. Comfortable bed, good breakfast (extra), pleasant service and convenient for... More

Lunch for seven. A mixture of tastes and styles. Things looked so good that I would have loved to have had a taste of everyones. I had the bento box which contained some very well flavoured chicken, two ways, with a good rice and some quality fruit. Very pleasing. Everyone in our group was happy withthe lunch, if not the... I think I'm too old for this place. I don't do trendy and don't like thumping music everywhere - especially when eating breakfast. The decor for me was just weird and trying too hard. But each to their own. The basics beyond that were fine - good helpful staff and a decent breakfast.

Location very suitable for the Dundrum area which was what we required as we were visiting family in that location. Very reasonable price including breakfast. Car parking arrangements very good with no additional charge.
