We stayed in this B n'B in a weekend in July as we wanted to tour Dublin. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. We were then shown our room which was no bigger than a matchbox, you had to walk into the tiny bathroom so that you could close the door of the room. The... More

We've just been guests of the Sycamore house (August 2012) and we felt very "at home". The owner, a very gentle lady, welcome us in a warm way, she gave us support, she left us to leave luggage inside (for our last walk in Dublin) even the day we left, she called us a taxi for the airport, etc... Husband and I stayed at Sycamore House for 4 nights in July, 2012 and it was really was 10/10!! Bus just outside the door, walking distance to all local amenities and a 30 min walk to city! The wonderful hostess - Imelda held all the charm we have heard the Irish are renowned for - and more. Warmth, welcome, wit,... More

My many visits to Dublin are always based at Sycamore House. Not only is it the perfect location to hop a bus into City Centre but Imelda is a fabulous hostess. Every time I arrive at her doorstep it is the feeling of homecoming. The breakfasts are wonderful and Imelda is so knowledgeable about Dublin and full of great recommendations... More

Really friendly, spotlessly clean b&b. Imelda is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble! Right on the bus stop into town. Shops nearby. Lovely chip shop where they fried the chips to order. Well worth the wait. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is my second time staying at this wonderful home away from home. (Please see my review from July 2010) This trip, instead of two, we had five family members. Imelda, our landlady, made us all feel immediately welcome and at home. For nine days she looked after us all with charm, laughter, great food and a spotlessy clean home.... More

We stayed at the Sycamore B&B for the weekend of 1/7/2011. It was my son's 21st birthday and we were going to the O2 Arena for a concert. The owner was called Imelda and from the moment we arrived she made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this B&B without... More

Although this bed and breakfast is about 1 kilometer from the the city centre it is just far enough to be quiet without being too far away ( about 10 minutes on the bus). The proprietor is a very friendly and accommodating lady, all of the rooms are very clean and the whole building is very well decorated. My wife... More

Imelda was lovely and made an amazing Irish breakfast that kept us fed all day. Was a bit of a hike to get to Dublin downtown by bus, but it was easy to drive out in our rented car to the countryside and the airport. Comfortable clean room.

We stayed in sycamore house for a few days. All I can say about it is positive. Imelda is a very nice person and made our stay really easy. We all enjoyed it there and everybody was trying to help us with everything. Breakfast was good and enough for all of us. All the rooms a very clean. I think... More
