We paid absolute top dollar for this B&B and it is by far the worst place we have stayed in the UK/Ireland. There were a lot of staff but not all seemed particularly interested in us. Exception of the Breakfast staff and one staff member who helped us to the carpark. Our room was cramped and very noisy because it... More

We booked the Adelphi Guesthouse because of its proximity to what we wanted to do in this part of Dublin. The location is excellent. But that is the only positive. Whether or not one has a good experience must have something to do with the following: 1) how must you paid for your room via the booking; 2) which room... More

We stayed in a family room (Room 15) with our adult sons and found it to be cramped, but then the price was good and we only slept in the room and were out all day and night. While the room and the bathroom were very clean, the floor in the bedroom was damaged, the TV didn't work and a... More

Adelphi is a 2 star B+B guest house located a 5 minute walk from O'Connell Street. Room was basic at best with a minute ensuite. Double bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. You get exactly what you pay for.

This is a low star bed and breakfast guest house. It is clean and the food was great. The room was at the rear and included on suite and a TV. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding area is not the best and we came across a number of homeless males. They caused... More

Very small and basic rooms. This guesthouse is located next to a train line so it is noisy. The walls are super thin and you can hear the comings and goings of your neighbours. You can hear them talking in the room next to you! shared bathroom - this was not clear whrn i booked it and i thought it was... More

The staff seemed unwilling to act warm or friendly. They seemed disenchanted with working there. We were not allowed to leave the B&B without leaving our room key with someone downstairs. Which is strange enough... but what's worse when we returned to the B&B after a day in Dublin, we had to retrieve our key again. "Uh, we need our... More

Good reasonably priced and quirky guest house .. About 5-10 minutes walk to o Connell street .. Really quick transfer with shuttle from airport ... Good option and breakfast included ... Stayed over St Patrick's day weekend ... Little bit of noise but really nothing that bothered us .. Clean and tidy and good service from owners .... A good... More

Everything you would expect from a guest house . Comfortable , clean & secure . Got a extremely good value deal due to it being a Monday night which included a free breakfast for the wife & I Must say our shower & toilet were spotless. They say you pay for what you get , I say "we got more... More
