My husband and I recently spent 7 nights at this spectacular B & B. We were delighted with our experience from start to finish. Garvan is the perfect host - we always felt welcome, comfortable, and really had the royal treatment! We loved each and every breakfast, which were cooked to perfection and looked forward to each morning. We had... More

Upon our arrival at Two Rooms, we were enthusiastically greeted by Fred, the resident Schnauzer, and Garvan, our host, who also offered a warm welcome. The house is nicely located about a 20 minute walk from the lively core of the city. We were traveling with another couple, which worked out well, since there are only 2 rooms available, hence... Dear Kathy504. First of all, thank you for your very detailed and top-notch review, and goodness me, you were taking notes (and pretty good pictures too)! We're glad you loved the food, sounds like you had a nice variety of dishes there, which is what we always try to do for people staying a few days. Thank you so much... More

We could not have felt more welcome from the start. What a wonderful place to be pampered! The room was lovely and comfortable and smelled so fresh (that sounds odd, but it was fabulous). The house is decorated funky and fun. Garvan is an amazing cook--breakfasts to die for. He took time out to show us the community garden they... More

Dear Mary S from Denver. A huge thank you to Denver for that lovely glowing review. It was our pleasure to host yourself & Doug. The community garden is in full bloom now (plum tree split in half with the weight of plums!), so glad you liked seeing it. See our blog for a 12-min film on the making of... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after St. Patrick's Day. Garvan was nothing but accommodating. Scones and tea upon arrival were a perfect start to our stay. As noted in other reviews, you do share a bathroom but it was never an issue. The entire place is very clean. You can tell these gentleman take pride in... More

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so we had nothing to compare it to, however we are quite confident we were at the most warmest and most inviting home in all of Dublin! Everything that you read is true. Garvan, Kevin and Fred were terrific! I felt like Garvan could do no wrong, as he made... More

We are usually avid self caterers, but when we saw this place online, I knew we had to stay here.I have to say, it is just as great as I hoped it would be. Fresh and clean, filled with love. The perfect way to end our trip. Our stay was very short, but we both felt totally comfortable the whole... More

Dear skidoolie! Thank you so much for your lovely review. Hope your clothes arrived safe and sound! So glad you both enjoyed yourselves and the food, and scents (nice to hear). Thanks also for commenting on our neighbourhood too. Taxi drivers give it a real bad rap to new guests so it's good to get a balanced view from people... More

We stayed with Garvan, Kevin and Fred for 4 nights. It was a great stay including the accommodation, the hospitality, the needed directions and the food! Garvan is a fantastic cook and breakfasts were a delight. I would love to stay there on our next trip to Dublin and would encourage anyone to do the same!

Our visit with Garvan, Kevin and Fred was terrific! We were here as part of our 45th wedding anniversary celebration. They were warm, accommodating, and generally excellent hosts, helping us plan our time in Dublin well and steering us towards great restaurants, even securing a last-minute spot at a lovely place within walking distance. The room was elegant, pristine and... More

We had three superb days celebrating Bloomsday. The comfort and welcome was superb - as they say, nothing was too much trouble - including the amazing breakfasts. On our return one evening, we were greeted with 'welcome home' - and that's how it felt, we were welcomed into their home as if it were our own. We will return.

Garvan and Kevin are great hosts. We just stayed with them for our honeymoon this past weekend. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and they had great recommendations on restaurants for dinner. As Garvan tells you, don't believe the cab drivers if they say the area of town is rough. We walked everywhere and felt safe at all times of day/night.
