We've visited here several times over the past couple of years, always finding the staff extremely pleasant & the room nice. Location (just between TCD & St. Stephen's Green) is as close to perfect as we can see for Dublin. Quirky & quiet - as mentioned in other reviews - the only caveat being that if you've got a baby/infant,... More

La Stampa is in a great location for all activities around the Grafton/Dawson/Stephens Green hub. We stayed for one night (Friday) and thought the hotel was really good. Because of age/layout of building the design is a bit unusual and the stairs is the best option for room access. Concierge carried the bags. Room was nicely proportioned with a large... More

This hotel is in a great location. Dawson Street is full of good bars and restaurants. I agree with previous reviewers that it feels strange walking through the bar to get to the hotel and I really wouldn’t want to eat breakfast there as it is in the bar. There are lots of other options nearby. It was a bit... More

High quality quirky, very attentive and wonderful staff, great location, good value. Restaurant is not cheap, but is something a bit special. Champagne is absurdly expensive, but that seems to be the rule in Dublin.

I recently stayed at the La Stampa for two nights. another reviewer called it "quirky". I agree, and would go a bit further. The hotel is quirky to the point of being annoying. Going to the elevator from the front desk or front door entailed a 100 meter walk through the bar. This trip includes having to punch in an... More

We stayed three nights here at the start of our exploration of southern Ireland. It is a quirky hotel. Between the lobby and room access is a night club. You have to work through the nightclub to get to the elevator to the rooms but that's no big deal. I did not hear any noise from the nightclub when trying... More

Really liked this hotel. Cheap parking available across the road. the reception is small but charming. Went with a group of friends for a concert, the location was excellant for shopping and nightlife. didnt have to get one taxi as in such a super location. From what i can tell each of the rooms are totally different. lovely restaurant also,... More

Been there for 2 nights and although the front desk is very charm and helpful the rooms need some reform. Also, is you need to take the lift to your room, you need to pass trough some kind of disco-bar that is on the ground level. During the night, the music on the Disco-Bar was so loudly that was impossible... More

We spent two nights here after returning from an 11 day tour around Ireland. It was a great location to walk to all the main attractions we wanted to see including Trinity College, Grafton Street and the Temple Bar area. The bus to the airport is right outside the front door. We had a large package to mail back home... More

This hotel is really cool. We stayed here in junior Suite our last night in Dublin. Our room was very large with a huge bathroom. The bath had a gorgeous hand painted claw foot tub, which I loved!! My husband was not quite as happy with it because it does not have a stand up shower, so be sure to... More
