We stayed here last Saturday night, it is difficult to find the room as the layout is like a maze and the lift is poorly located. When I enquired about car-parking, they have no carparking which is not suprising given its location, however the carpark they recommend charges €30 for 24 hours! The room was nicely decorated but a lot... more

We stayed in La Stampa for one night in November. Our room was on the top floor and was a junior suite. It was beautiful. Very clean and luxurious to boot! One definate downside is the lack of a working lift but don't let that put you off as the hotel is gorgeous. We checked in at 9.30am and understandably... more

Our room was so noisy it felt like we were in the middle of the bar downstairs. Even with ear plugs, the base was so loud that you could feel it through the bed and pillow. Unless you plan to go clubbing until late, do not even consider staying at this hotel. It is clear that their business is focused... more

Stayed in the hotel and ate in the basement restaurant 'Tiger Becs' recently. Rooms are fabulous decor wise, spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and the 'samsara bar' is gorgeous too. Tiger Becs is ok food wise, not great but nice, I like thai food but wasnt blown away....still i have no complaints about the food, I have just had... more

A very nice hotel in a prime location in Dublin. Reasonable rates in a very expensive Ireland. The Special including a double room and dinner for two in the Balzac restaurant is a steal. The bus to the airport is just outside the door. The only drawback (at least in our opinion) is that the beds are very hard. Rooms... more

With a Thai/moroccan feel in decor, the hotel staff were very friendly and polite. The room was newly decorated with a 5* bathroom. Very clean, and quiet, even the nightclub feel to the bar downstairs, the noise did not travel upstairs. Could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in the room for perfection, and the Thai restaurant downstairs provides a quality... more

I can't understand how this hotel is only rated number 110 in Dublin. It has an absoiutely brilliant city centre location and lots of character and history. Our room was fairly small, but very well equipped and very comfortabale indeed. Staff were efficient and nice. The hotel houses at least two top class restaurants (although we didn't use them other... more

The best thing about this hotel is it's location--in the heart of the city center and close to everything yet quiet; there was no noise to be heard at night. The rooms are decent sized with a spacious bathroom, but the service was somewhat uneven with an indifferent staff--ask for a tea kettle if you want one in your room.... more
