Stayed in this hotel last weekend. Very reasonably priced, very comfy beds, free wi-fi, good continental breakfast( extra €5), nice gym, clean room. Beautiful grounds, very green. 10 mins walk to Dundrum shopping centre, where you can find variety of shops, restaurants and cinema.Close to City Centre by Luas ( 10mins walk from the hotel). Hotel has no bar, which... More

Had an awful time - we were there for a gig at Marlay park but ended up being almost 3 hours late because of a series of mix-ups. First the receptionist put us in an unclean room and we had to wait for it to be cleaned, then we found out it wasn't the executive room we'd paid for, she... More

This is reasonable accommodation which is very cheap for Dublin. You can upgrade your room for €10, well worth it, the rooms are really nice, modern and colourful. It is about 10 miles from city centre, however, it is only a five minute walk to the LUAS which takes you straight to Stephens Green in 10 minutes. It is also... More

I chose this hotel as I thought it would be close to Marlay Park where we planned to start 'hiking' the Wicklow Way. It was not close to the park, or really anything else it seemed. We arrived late at night and had difficulty finding the entrance. One bright spot was a kind person at the front desk (though this... More

Room was huge compared with many hotels and bed was comfortable. Bathroom had powerful shower. Breakfast served in lounge same level as bedrooms offered cereals, ham, cheese, fruit, toast and drinks. We were seeing a friend in the south of the city and walked to / from the residence. Used the Luas (tram) one day to go into city centre:... More

I'm used to conference centres with their soulless accommodation and minimalist approach to guest comfort, so I was not expecting a 5* experience at the IMI. With my revised expectations I was pleased the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It is an inherently ugly concrete building that is rather depressing inside too (you don't stay here for... More

I booked this in a hurry and did not realise it was not a hotel - it's a "residence". I turned up late and the whole site was in darkness. I could see a reception sign lit up in the distance and aimed for it. When I entered there was a man in reception watching a tv. I thought he... More

We stayed at the Imi Residence in Dublin for two nights room only. Was a little difficult to find. When we approached the Hotel,my son said this is like a University Building, we went to reception and my first thoughts were not so good, thinking what my son had said was true, but once we got booked in and got our...
