We have just come back from a lovely long week-end in Dublin where we stayed at the Grafton Capitol Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent; right in the city centre, close to many nice pubs and restaurants and the lovely St Stephen Green Park. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated and in need of some refurbishment but the room... More

My friend and I stayed here recently for a concert at the three arena. The price was great for a city centre location, in dublin, however you get what you pay for. The hotel is pretty run down from the outside to the lobby where you check in. The staff are friendly however, but the reception I felt was grubby... More

This hotel was clean, in the perfect location and there was a 24 hour reception. Bit overpriced for the basic and dated room. We paid £70 a night, with no breakfast included but had a great stay all the same.

I am disappointed in the hotel it's very worn out two of the lights in the bedroom do not work the bed are uncomfortable with one very thin pillow. The shower is not bad but the water is not very hot. And then the noise. I am actually in bed now with the music pumping up through the walls I... More

Lovely stay at this hotel. Perfect location and a lovely pub next door. Rugby match being played in pub as well as the football. Best place to be. great trip. Would recommend to anyone! Family's or couple or on you own. The Irish are very welcoming here in Dublin.

We travelled as a group of friends in November 2014. The Grafton Capital was our choice primarily for its location - which was excellent. A stone's throw from Temple Bar, Dame Street and O'Connell Street with all the shops, pubs and restaurants you could wish for within easy walking distance. Check in was fine (there were 10 of us in... More

Stayed here with 3 friends for a weekend, the location is superb, just around the corner from Grafton Street, didn't interact with the staff much, but everything you would need is here, and at a reasonable price, would recommend this hotel and will be back. The staff in the pub are great, in particular Michael, who was great craic, and... More

Stayed at this hotel for the Ireland v RSA Rugby weekend 7th -10th Nov. This is not a nice hotel, very tired decor & stinks of cigarette smoke, room furniture is dated. My room furniture had cigarette burns in the wood. Requested a room change - which was accommodated the following day, all credit to the staff in facilitating the... More

Excellent location. Comfortable room. Near shops and pubs. Had a brilliant weekend. Short taxi drive from Connolly station. Checked in no hassle. Asked for extra pillows and they were delivered straight away. Everything else as we wanted. Beds very comfortable and rooms quiet. thanks for nice wekend hope to see you again .

Another of my regular Dublin resting places. The location is a real plus being within a few minutes walk of shops, bars, and sights. Large hotel, though its age is aparent with many rooms looking tired. Overall adequate with no frills. Though generally quiet on occassions the adjacent bar can be noisy - the staff will usually warn you if... More
