The Grafton Capital is perfectly located for a short visit to Dublin. All of the essential city centre sights and attractions are within 5 to 15 minute walks, including Grafton Street, Temple Bar and the Ha'penny Bridge, Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, Merrion Square, Dublin Castle and St Patrick's Cathedral. The main hotel itself is a gem of a building... More

I stayed here in September of 2014, during the Irish part of my vacation. Even though the price was budget-friendly, the staff made this a luxurious experience for me. Everyone I met, from reception to housekeeping, was incredibly friendly, courteous, helpful and kind. My room was tidy and neat, and the centralized location was perfect for any exploration you could... More

Stay at this hotel once a month and have done for years now, yes it is a little dated and could do with a update but it is always clean and comfortable, staff are all friendly and vey helpful if you need them, the baths are lovely and deep the perfect way to end the day and yes some of... More

My partner and I stayed at the Grafton for one night during our visit in Dublin, after searching for cheap central accommodation. We turned up two hours before check-in due to my partner feeling ill and the receptionist did everything possible to get us into a room early which was highly appreciated. Being a 3 star hotel, we didn't expect... More

The best thing about this hotel is its central location. Rooms are a little tired but overall clean. Staff seem to not speak English at all although not offensive but not very welcoming. Breakfast was ok plenty of choice but some fruit was rotten (apples). We had a nice meal in The Hairy Lemmon dirty over th road from the... More

Sorry but I cant think of a nice thing to say about this hotel. It is very centrally located above noisy pubs and clubs so don't expect any sleep before 3am. The whole hotel is tired and in need of investment , which can be said about the reception staff too. All our bathroom fittings were broken or missing and... More

The best quality this hotel has is its location. Very central. But little else impressed me. I couldn't say the reception staff where rude, they just didn't speak. No conversation or smiles. Not a welcome you expect. The rooms are lovely. Thin hotel walls though. I was woken early by the people in next room. I could hear everything. Finally... More

Paid €200 for two nights, shared with a friend. I had to arrive later and the reception did a good job of passing on a message from my mate who got there and checked in first. The room itself was a bit out of date with an old CRT TV, and with a generally well-used feel to everything. The attached... More

We stayed here for two nights from 5th to 7th December. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes it is a little dated but for the price we paid we didn't expect 5* luxury. Our ages ranged from 20 to 68 with six of us sharing three rooms. The beds were enormous and the rooms were very warm. We had... More

The hotel could use some updating, it is quite old. The hotel states that there is wifi in the lobby but It did not work very well. You had to go outside to use the wifi which is where the signal was. That was a little bit annoying. We had a big room with a king size bed and was... More
