Horrible and dump kitchen, the vapor of the pan was so that it would rain in the kitchen. Lousy. No wifi in the room, but just in the hall although it did not work properly ever. The worst staff I have ever met..very rude and ill-mannered. One of two showers and one of two bathrooms (for almost 20 people) have... More

This hostel is good if you are taking a paddywagon tour. It is one of the pick up points and is very central to all the nightlife in Dublin. The beds are nice and clean and there is a great FREE airport shuttle. A real winner for any budget traveller..!!

Stayed here before my paddywagon tour and loved how central it was. There was good security and a big kitchen. Its cheap and also has a free shuttle to and from the airport. For a good deal i can say this is really value and O Connell St is 300mts away.

Paddy's Palace is clean and cheap. The location is great, very close to everywhere in Dublin. They offer a free airport shuttle, free tour to Kilkenny and free toast and jam for breakfast. Great value for money. However do not expect a 3* hotel when you book and pay for a hostel!

After being recommended this hostel from friends/family I decided to book this for 5 nights for me and 3 others sharing a 4 bed dorm, don't get me wrong I totally agree with you get what you pay for but the people here were just totally and utterly rude..! Recently found out from members of staff at paddys palace that... More

The security it good. Common lounge available. Kitchen clean but old. It's an old building and we there in feb/mar so it was cold. bathrooms clean. Beds and room clean. Airport shuttle worth it. It's a decent place. Stayed twice. Would recommend

As this was my first trip to Ireland from the US, I chose Paddy's Place to stay for several reasons: the constant airport shuttles, the affordable tours across the country, the cheap cost, and the basic accommodations. Their website is very informative and every email I sent was answered immediately. I wasn't spending my money on a hotel when all... More

This was not the cleanest hostel or with the best accommodations, but to be fair it was very cheap. The location is great and very close (walking distance) into the downtown area. I think the smaller room you book, the better quality of stay. I definitely do not recommend mixed gender rooms. The staff were helpful when needed. The wifi... More

This place is clean and ideal if you want to go party in Dublin. If you want to hang around common rooms its always packed because it is the home of the very popilar Paddywagon tours. However it is cheap ,basic and clean.

I was nervous given some questionable reviews but my room was nice and clean and had a good shower. The free airport shuttle is excellent and it is really close to town. Also if you stay a number of nights you get a free Kilkenny tour with Paddywagon which was excellent.
