This being my first hostel experience I honestly wasn't expecting a whole lot. I chose to book at Paddy's Palace because I was going to be joining one of their tours so it seemed the most convenient. I quickly learned that going with convince isn't always best. The building really needs some TLC, (old carpets and linens, mold on walls,... More

I did my school trip with Paddy wagon and it was awesom. Gabriel was our guide and driver and he is the best. I will always remember my trip. Gabriel helped us to understand Irish history but he also made us discover really nice views and landscape. Thank you for everything daddy chicken haha. Naomie

I couldn’t choose the correct date I visited, but it was July 2012. The hostel itself was okay. The staff were not too friendly and I found them to be offish. But overall, my experience was great. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Bathrooms for me are a big must, and they were clean. The location was advertised... More

My boyfriend stayed here for his stag do, 10 of them stayed in one room, which had lots of plug sockets, very clean and was en suite. They have a free shuttle bus which dropped them off and picked them up from the airport. The staff were great, they were very good emailing me back all the time and also... More

Horrible place. No pillow and bed wasn't ready. It's a joke. Looks like a run down shack and nothing is clean. 1 star is too much. Would not recommend staying here, absolute gongshow. Understaffed and not that helpful as well. It is also located next to the metro which makes sleeping horrible. Travel with another company.

Stayed here for two nights while on a recent visit to Dublin with a friend. Didn't pay very much for a two bed shared room so we weren't expecting much from the hostel. This was definitely the best way to think as you wouldn't be let down on arriving. Positives: The hostel is in a very good location for sites... More

Upon arriving at the hostel after completing a 9 Day Paddywagon Tour, I was asked to complete the payment for my room before being given a key to for a room in the building next door. I then had to carry my bags without any assistance up three flights of stairs to then realise the key I was provided did... More

I stayed two nights at the hostel since we took a tour from them, and I have to say I regret staying there. It is a great location, not far from the bus station, not far from the tram system either and you can walk to all the restaurants and sights from there. The rooms are okay, and the sheets... More

Out of the seven hostels in which I stayed during my trip I liked this one the least. On a positive note, the beds are fine and it does have a good lobby and is within walking distance of a ton of tourist attractions. But my experience started off on a bad note when the manager yelled at the staff... More

Paddy's Palace has a great marketing team; they have hostels all over Ireland, and their day trips and overnight tours appear be a great value for what you get. But read reviews. The guides are knowledgeable, charismatic, and funny, but making sure you get the full value for your money is not the company's first priority. And the hostels are... More
