My friends and I arrived there at 1:30am after our flight. We had a Ensuite for 4 people and when we got to the room we discovered there were 4 more people sleeping already. We went back to the reception and the guy there was absolutely useful and really rude. We informed him about the room category we had book... More

We booked a 4 bed room and paid for it once we arrive at 2am they sent us to an 8 bed room without informing us on the reception. We went back to the reception and the receptionist couldn´t help us at all, he was very rude and at 2am we had to stay. This place is dirty, dirty and... More

If you are going to Dublin for an enjoyable weekend and you care about your personal hygiene Do Not Stay at Paddy’s Palace as this “establishment” is far from a palace. There was a consent smell possibly coming from the unwashed corridors and unattended toilets. Don’t expect to be given what you booked. We had to wait an hour while... More

Paddys was amazing the first day. A friend and I got into the dublin airport and got a 'free' shuttle to paddys palace. The price of the hostel ended up being cheaper than we expected and service/facilities were good. Free breakfast in the morning too. We stayed in Galway the second night and then returned to dublin Sunday to catch... More

I booked online months ago for a friday and a saturday night and received confirmation of my booking. I turned up on friday night and was told that they have no rooms availble, that they realised that they had double booked a few days ago. Asked if they had not thought to contact me and he said they didnt have... More

Facilities were ugly and dirty. I could not feel clean while I was in this place- when we walked in there was literally blood on our door and our sheets had strange stains. There is one bathroom - two toilets, two showers - to share between the entire group and good luck getting hot water. If you can, spend the... More

The hostel itself is nothing special. Slightly cramped, not the cleanest, BUT, as advertised, it is a bargain hostel. My main complaint was that for the three nights that we stayed there, there was no hot water. Showers were ice cold. On the other hand, the Paddy Wagon tours were excellent. Our tour guide, Gavin, was knowledgable, hilarious, and courteous... More

The room was smelly but apparently clean. The smell came from someone belonging... even though I think they should check this kind of stuff, the true is that we were staying in a 8-people dorm and we couldn't really ask a lot from it! This was the only hostel available on short notice and it was cheap. Our room was... More

We did not expect luxury but hoped for at least the basics.we opted fro the twin bedded room. What you get is a 2mt x 3mt room, twin bunk beds.1 mirror,1 dustbin and one heater, dirty windows right opposite the train track and 1 sheet of material that barely covered the window. The rooms were at least clean. No wifi in rooms- had to... More

Although the staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. No alcohol allowed so residents end up sitting on the steps outside, drinking and smoking, which looks awful to passers-by. Kitchen closes at 10pm, and lounge at 11, although security bloke walks round at 10:30 kicking all the sofas and shouting at everyone to Get... More
