Hotel was very cheap 75 euro between 4 of us.You get what you pay for. In the room the wall paper was severally hanging of the wall, they made an effort to fix it with sticky tape but clearly that didnt work....the sheets clearly hadnt been washed as there were other peoples hairs in the beds. more

This so called ‘hotel’ is DIRE. The brochure is complete misleading, describing it as a boutique hotel! There are laws against such misleading bull[--]. This place is a DUMP and it would be safer and cleaner to stay out on the streets for the night. I have never stayed in such a grim and disgusting hole. The first thing that... more

Stayed in Brown's for 3 nights, in a single room, and I honestly felt like an animal in a undersized cage. The room I stayed in -- no more than 3m square -- overlooked Lower Gardiner St, complete with sirens and traffic noise all night long. Furnishings consisted of a very well-worn double bed (cigarette burns in the coverlet) which... more

We stayed at an 'apartment'.One egg cup between the two of us (and this tiny place was supposed to sleep four.Upstairs students kept us awake all night with thier computer game.Patio doors bust.Tatty decor, cheap plates, knives, ect.Yet it cost more per night than a lovelu hotel we stayed on the south side.Worst was the area-full of low lives, noisy, frightening at night. The telly... more

I visited Dublin for a long weekend trip with my girlfriend, and we booked the trip as a last-minute package deal thru Expedia. For the rock-bottom hotel rate we got, I should have known something was up, because the flight over via Continental was flawless...the hotel stay, however, was not. The room was tiny, the bed was barely a double... more

Nothing more to say than dont stay in the apartments - stale smell of smoke, stains on everything, furniture falling to pieces, no lift, down a dodgy alley - do I need to carry on!!! The only positive is that they found us alternative accommodation as was not prepared to stay here!!! more

Having read the reviews, we were not looking forward to staying here even though we had booked it through an agent. On arrival however, our fears were not realised, the front desk girl was friendly and despite a few problems with the room it was perfectly acceptable to us. The tiling on the bathroom was not great, the shower screen... more

Attendees at the front desk were nice enough. But couldn't help me carry my bags and suitcase up the narrow 5 flights of stairs so I did it myself. Being on the top floor, the ceiling above the window was covered in mildew and the room had a nasty smell. Beds super uncomfortable. Kept the window open at night to... more

Having read the reviews, we were more than a little concerned. We tried unsuccessfully to cancel it. Most accommodation in the road was hostels and scruffy. The first night was spent in a room on the ground floor and we had the worst nights sleep ever. Banging doors, people talking loudly and drunkenly outside our window, police sirens going off... more

I don't usually bother writing reviews but felt I had a moral obligation to do so. What an absolute rip off this place was, it wasn't a hotel not even a good hostel and looked nothing like the glossy brochure. The place was falling apart. There was no lift, the wallpaper was sellotaped down in more than one place. There... more
