Our stay at Almara B&B was great. The B&B is just a short bus ride from both the airport and downtown Dublin. Alan and Maria were wonderful hosts. The welcome we received was warm and inviting. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

My missus and stepdaughter stayed over at the Almara for the Ed Sheeran concert at Croke Park. They raved about the service and welcome the got from the very knowledgeable Alan and would recommend the Almara to anyone. Located a short bus journey into town and not too far from the airport it was the ideal stop over for a... More

This is a lovely guesthouse within easy distance from both airport and city centre. Rooms are comfy and clean with great breakfasts. Alan can't do enough for his guests and is full of knowledge and information about the city and surrounding countryside. Transport links are excellent with bus stops right outside. Also has a great pub down the road.

My mum and I stayed at the Almara B&B recent and absolutely loved it. The owners obviously put their heart and soul into the place. The beds were comfy and the room was well laid-out. Our room was one of the few without an ensuite bathroom, however it was just outside our room and we only had to share it... More

Maria and Alan have converted their home, with picturesque back yard, into a B and B, and we stayed there for 2 nights in late April 2015. Our room had heating, could have slept 3, was spotless, had a large modern ensuite, and was upstairs. As guests, we all needed to be aware of each other, which fortunately everyone was.... More

ACCOMONATIONS: We booked a room with 2 beds and its own bathroom. Room was small for 2 people and our luggage. The beds were comfortable and rooms very clean and cared for. We were given clean towels and water each day. The breakfast was average, It gets repetitive if you are staying longer than a few days. The wifi was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2014, the greeting was brilliant, Alan is a lovely guy and really knows the meaning of customer service, and a mate stayed in a twin room which was ample, the lack of en-suite although worrying did not cause any issues or large queues for the bathroom. We never did get to try the... More

I spent one night with two friends and Alan was the friendliest person ever! He was really useful as a "guide" too. Room was really tidy and clean and breakfast treat was yummy! I definitely recommend this to everybody! Only downside is the internet connection which was not great (actually quite poor) in the room.
