We had a very good rate for a mid-week break in July, just £43 a night, room only. We didn't have any problems with noise: our room was directly above reception looking onto North Great George St. The staff were polite & friendly, especially the bar staff. Our room was serviced each day, with clean towels provided. We had breakfast... more

Stayed in belvedere with my sister for concert in croke park and therefore paid overinflated price for room. Were just hoping for half decent room and late bar Met with Very pleasant reception staff. Bit dissappointed with room. Beds have seen better days. Good power in shower but shower head in fixed straight downward position about 6 inchs from wall.... more

Our first trip to Dublin taking advantage of cheap flights from a local airport, we didn't have a car so needed to be pretty central but didn't have a huge budget. The Belvedere met our needs perfectly. Only a short walk away from main O'Connell Street and the south side of the river is easy to walk to as well.... more

I really liked this hotel...it was very inexpensive and had a a great shower...i stayed in the sunny side (when its sunny in dublin?) so it actually got a bit warm in my room during the day but all in all it had comfortable beds a few good channels on the T.V. nice breakfast in the morning....easy walk to all... more

Myself and my partner stayed here in November 2008. We booked this hotel through a supervalu getaway breaks. The break was a disaster from start to finish! We were supposed to recieve a meal and two full breakfasts as part of our deal- We recieved neither, upon asking about our meal I was told this was "not their policy", this... more

My friend and I arrived in Dublin mid-morning. Our room wasn't ready, but they held our bags while we went off to eat something & explore, and we were able to check in at 1 pm. The room was surprisingly spacious by European standards. Our room was clean and we were brought fresh towels daily. We had a double bed... more

This was a great hotel, there are no frills but that's fine. The location was very walkable to all the action and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, not to mention let us check in at 6 am (after flying all night) even though check in is at 2 pm. They were nice enough to arrange a rental car... more

We got a total bargain with e-bookers £86 for two adults for two nights here. Seemed to be at least a third cheaper than any equivalent hotel. Didn't include breakfast but the 7 Euro deal in the hotel was very good value and all you can eat buffet with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, juice, toast, croissant, pain... more

We stayed here after changing our plans to stay in dublin for a week instead of 3 days and found a great deal to stay here. The room was nice and the staff was friendly. Would be better if breakfast was included. The worst part of the stay was the noise in the middle of the night. Our room was... more

Really liked this hotel for the value. City centre hotel, right beside all the hot spots. Very handy for a former Dub now living away from the city. The highlight for me though is the friendly staff. When you combine both of these factors, you have a hotel that I will return to. more
