My family and I stayed here on Saturday 19th July - to attend Miss Ireland competition. - As the event is one of a kind, you would expect the same from a hotel. I can assure you it is not 4*, bedrooms are in need of some TLC, walls covered in stains, tiles are missing from the bathroom, and there... More

Keep this short and sweet. Stayed last night for Miss Ireland. Dirty sock in room from last person stayed there. Cobwebs and dust in bathroom. Next was the dinner. Go at cheese starter was beautiful. Chicken main course was complete cap. Small portion and potatoes cold. The air con blew nothing but hot air all night in the room. This... More

Dubliner bar was busy, food was very good and great Guinness!!.We had dinner the 2nd night in the... More

We stayed four people in two rooms in this hotel for one night. The rooms were OK, and would have been quite comfortable if it hadn't been muggy weather and there being no air conditioning (windows were open when we arrived but that helped only so much). Rooms don't feel quite luxurious, not four-star in my book; some of the... More

Spent one night here for the location during a shopping trip to Dublin. Parking was ok and reception was fine. Ciara in Reception was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was good and had a pleasant view. The bathroom lacked a non slip mat for the bath/shower. We requested one but staff failed to locate one! Room safe had batteries... More

Room was pleasant, bright and clean but paid €18 for the worst continental breakfast ever. No fresh fruit except water melon and only 2 bread types. There was no strawberry jam left and I had to ask for more butter. Presentation was very poor. You can only get free wifi for 20 minutes in the foyer and even after asking... More

Location-wise this hotel wasn't too bad, the number 4 and 7 bus stop outside and bring you to trinity college. However the bus rarely stops outside trinity due to tourist buses parked in the bus lanes! So you may as well get use to the 2.5km walk. Fine if the weather is good. We weren't notified at check in that... More

I stayed here for a recent work event and was initially given a room on the 2nd floor above the front of the hotel. My room had no A/C so the window has to stay open to get any airflow BUT it also allows for all the cigarette smoke from the smokers below to come into my room. I asked... More

A very noisy hotel that is rather understaffed. The breakfast is not very good at all, the service is slow, the rooms are incredibly noisy and the internet connection is expensive and only supports one device. I suppose you get what you pay for but I would not recommend this at all for the business traveller

Myself & my sister stayed here for an awards ceremony, while I understand the staff were under a lot of pressure the queues were very long. The bar is lovely & spacious lovely for a drink & a bite to eat. The rooms are average with everything you would expect to find. The breakfast was average with a small selection... More
