Where do I begin? We reserved two rooms. One room has no closet door and not enough hangers. There is no safe. There is no small refrigerator to keep food or medicine cold. No AC. You have to crack the window and listen to traffic if you want it cool. The sheets are old and scratchy. Carpet is stained and... More

But this is an exceptional Hotel. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food is also quite good. Wifi is not free. Only issue for us is that it is about $15-20 cab fare to the Temple Bar area. Too bad - would stay again, except we would want to be closer to the center... More

Stayed here for a business trip, food was good, service was great and hotel rooms were dated and 80's stuff. Room was clean, bathroom was ok with a broken toilet holder which fell off every day - despite their best attempts of fixing it with more toilet role!! Wifi was terrible - nothing would work!!

My experience was so bad and disturbed by some problems. I gave an average rating but if I had to write just basing it on my experience, would be near terrible. So I asked also my colleagues. I mean, the Ballsbridge hotel could really be a top-of-the-pops hotel if only some urgent improvements are made. a) The room (7th floor)... More

Enjoyed recent stay at this hotel, starting to come back to its days of former glory of the jury's hotel, staff friendly and welcoming. Ate in the Dubliner, enjoyed the experience. keep up the good work - well done! We will be back soon.

We stayed three nights at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but nothing spectacular. The worst part of the stay was the booking process, though this didn't really have anything to do with the hotel. I had originally booked through Hotels.com. Less than a week before we left, there was an issue with my "guaranteed" reservation... More

Very good staff. Very nice and always on top of any of the issues you might have. The rooms are really clean. Only minus is the bathroom witch is a bit out of date. Very good experience with the staff at the restaurant, especially Catalin who made me the only decent coffee while in Dublin.

Upon arrival we could not check in so we dropped off our bags and toured the city.Upon return to the hotel the front desk staff were not overly friendly, the maintenance man was probably the friendliest and most helpful of the bunch. The pros of this hotel: Clean rooms although a bit outdated; air-conditioning; close to Dun Laogaharie and Aviva... More

We recently did a tour or Ireland and the start hotel was Ballsbridge in Dublin. First point of contact reception - not very welcoming at all, seemed to be more interested in serving other arrivals than us, too many foreign workers with poor English speaking/comprehension, only one extremely helpful young Irish lass who gave us info not in the room... I stayed at this hotel with my partner for a few nights for a city break. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times, in Raglans and particularly on reception, the first room we were given had a shower which wasn't working properly, the young lady on reception Elaine O'Riordan got this resolved quickly and efficiently and we...
