Although the room and the welcoming was really nice, we have to say that the experience was not satisfactory beacuse of the bathromm. The place got two bathrooms to share with all the customers, and we run out of hot and COLD water in several ocassions. Futhermore, the showerhead got no strain at all, and having a shower was a... The owners and staff where beautiful. The bathroom and the room were clean. Reminded me of my first apartment in Brooklyn with a fireplace and large windows. Other renters were from all walks of life and very pleasant. The manager was very knowledgeable of Ireland and a pleasure to meet. When I return to Ireland, I will be staying here!

If you want to stay in Dublin for a few nights you should definitely choose the Marilyn Mansion guesthouse. It's located in Rathgar which has over five bus routes going into the city centre. The house itself is big and clean with nicely decorated rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was spotless (as was the bathroom), comfortable and warm. Breakfast was continental (as clearly stated on website) but generous. I am a bit bemused by some negative... More

Wifi worked great. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was small but good none the less. Perfect distance from downtown to walk and right on the bus lines so getting around was a breeze.

We stayed for one night. We were made very welcome. Staff were very helpful. As it was more like a hostel we were unsure what to expect, but it was such good value so we chose here. We booked an ensuite room. It was fairly basic but everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was firm but very... More
