We stayed two nights at O'Neill's. Check-in was quick and efficient with the staff member guiding us upstairs to drop off our bags until our rooms were ready. The room was nicely appointed, nothing over-the-top fancy but clean and comfortable. Our room was above the street and wanting to have the windows open for fresh air, we found it rather... More

We stayed here for two nights in September. The place is run by three brothers who are friendly hard working and have a nice friendly pub. The rooms were clean and of good size and were very reasonable for the location. The Best thing about the guest rooms were the location. Although the street itself is unremarkable, it is located... They serve cafeteria style, pick your own table, get your own food and drinks. Food was good, and it was a very busy place. Hard to find a table, bar busy also. We did not stay there, only went for lunch.

Nice, spacious and clean room, and just a few minutes walk from Dublin Centre. Right next to train station - therefore noisy early and late. Internal water pump noise at night prevented you from sleeping. Breakfast is at nine - a bit late, so plenty of time in the morning. Pub is very good, friendly staff and a fun place... More

I stayed here just one night before heading out to the country side. The single room needed repairs. It was of adequate size. I clearly asked for a quiet room when making reservations. Since when is a room right next to the train tracks quiet? Internal noises were bothersome also.

Stayed a couple days in Dublin for St. Patricks day and prices in the Temple bar area were too expensive. O'Neills is a quick 5-10 minute walk to the temple bar area and most attractions to see and the ones that are not close we just hopped on a bus. Rooms were clean and what you would expect. I will... We were walking down street debating amongst ourselves about where to go. An old gentleman heard us and said "you have to go to O'Neills". We are so glad he did. Food was excellent. Typical bar layout. Fun spot. See Molly McGuire outside.

I'll be fair here, we didn't know the place was under renovations when we booked. This would explain why, when we showed up in the afternoon, the doors were still locked. There's an open door on the side of the street where you can walk up a flight of stairs and likely find the owner. He's a busy guy with... More

O'Neills was no frills, but very cute and clean. It's conveniently located, as well and reasonably priced. The folks who run it are not particularly friendly or helpful but that's okay. Pub downstairs looked charming, too.

We are currently staying here and we must say that we have choosen the right place for our short trip to dublin. it is a lovely old fashioned style - which i mean in a positive way - its romantic from my perspective. room is quiet even as it is next to the road and dart train and it is... More
