We stayed two nights upon our arrival in Ireland. We picked this place for two reasons; its proximity to Trinity College, and most importantly, the experience of staying at a pub. If room service and plush surroundings are your "thing" this place may not be for you. There is no elevator and the stairs consist of flights, half flights, quarter... More

We stayed at O'Neills for one night after staying the rest of the week at places that were further outside the city center, so we enjoyed the convenience of being right in town. O'Neills was just a short walk from Dame St, Grafton St, etc and was also a short walk from the DART station in the other direction. We... More

The pub is very attractive outside although I was disappointed by the immediate surroundings - the street itself is dull in comparison. However as we only had one night and day in Dublin staying in this centrally located pub was perfect. We were able to walk to major sights which were close by (e.g. Trinity College and The Book of... We stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to Dublin. Everyone was very nice and accommodating - and our room was huge! It was on the top floor - so warning if you don't like steps. The room was clean and airy and we didn't find the street noise distracting at all - we slept very well. Our... More

Quinch your thirst inside this beautiful pub. Don't drink? No problem! Stay for the atmosphere and the awesome decoration. I'm watching the match between Brazil and Chile and there is always something curious on the wall that distracts my attention from the match -- not that I'm complaining! :D

Spent one night at O'Neills before catching the morning ferry to England. We chose the O'Neills for it's location as it's across the street from Trinity College, within walking distance of the Temple Bar District, and a 10 minute taxi ride from the port. Rooms were clean and surprisingly roomy, bathroom was clean, beds were average. When we arrived it... More

Stayed here for two nights on a recent trip to Dublin. Booked very last minute as the accommodations I had planned did not work out and I showed up here on a Sunday evening when everything was closed! Had to call the gentleman to come let me in, and he did so and was very kind about it. The staff... More

My husband and I spent two nights of our Honeymoon at O'Neills. I was looking for a decently priced accomodatin in a good location and we definatley found that by staying here. Other reviewers have commented that the road is loud and the rooms are quiet noisy. We stayed on the 3rd flood and slept with the windows open...honestly I... More

Clean rooms and a good base to stay at. The pub itself was quiet with no evidence of any live music unfortunately. 10 minute walk to Temple Bar area or a short cab ride. Overall, happy enough with the accommodation and no complaints.
