If you are not too familiar with Dublin and which pub to pick, this nicely designed and greatly located Irish pub has all you need : good (local ) beers and good (local) food. Right in the city centre.

We loved O'Neills! Not only did we stay here for two nights, we also dined and drank here a couple nights. The Stay: The rooms were well-kept and spacious. The shower had great water pressure (could stand to be a little bigger). Two windows allowed cool air to blow in at night. The rooms could get a bit warm during... More

If you want you first impression of Dublin to be good don't book here .found If you want toy our first impression of Dublin to be good don't book here! The staff are rude and unprofessional when dealing with tourist. If the accommodations were good one might be able to over look this but they were basic at best.

Gerry N, Manager at O'Neills Victorian Pub & Townhouse, responded to this review

The reviewer's opinion is at odds with the vast majority of guests who have enjoyed their stay here and I would hope the reviewer's opinion of us was not overly tainted regarding an issue over a cancellation charge which the reviewer did not mention in her review. We work under the same standard booking conditions practised throughout the hotel industry... More

Came here for dinner, drinks, and music. The food is cafeteria style but quite good. They have lots of traditional Irish fare and some vegetarian options. Lots of beer and whiskey options. Books and crannies all over the pub let you choose how loud you want your table to be. They had traditional Irish dancers along with the music for... More

We came here for dinner at the recommendation of our host. Guests order their meal cafeteria style, at a counter and then any food that is prepared to order, is brought to your table. They were out of the entree that I wanted, but everything that we ordered was excellent. I couldn't finish the meal because there was so much... More

The food at this Pub is really good, wholesome Irish fare. Served from a canteen affair at the back you take your own food to your table and enjoy. The ambience is traditional vintage Dublin culture, near to Trinity College and offices, lunchtime clients are often suited businessmen or professors or students. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Up a... More

Did not sleep here, but went here for dinner. We are not beer drinkers, but looking at the bar, they have so many options. The food is like a cafeteria, and is very good with large portions at a great price. Gets crowded and can be difficult to find a seat.

Had a meal in here recently and not being the first time we knew what to expect. Having 2 young kids with us we decided to let them eat first before ordering our meals. the kids meals and my parents meals looked fantastic and more than one person could possibly eat. Plates stacked high with all you could wish for.... More

This very old pub has been upgraded superbly without losing any of the traditional ambiance. We were there for a an old firm reunion lunch and drinks (the entire afternoon), and everything was perfect. The buffet style meals were novel but satisfying. And of course, its city centre location is spot on!

We were able to walk to city in 5mins where restaurants, pubs and tours are. Accommodation was great with lots of space and nice ensuite - really good shower. This pub is closed on Sundays so we didn't get to eat there, except for breakfast.
