We knew it was a little further out of the city than our last hotel, but were surprised when the cab just kept driving. It's in a lovely neighborhood with some little places around, but if you are hoping to go back and forth to the city, this might not be the best place for you. The room was nice... More

I stayed at Egans House in May 2014 while visiting Dublin. The location isn't quite central but downtown Dublin is literally only a short 5 minute drive away. We chose to ride the double decker downtown and it was such a fun experience! The woman who worked at the front desk of Egans House was very friendly and helpful. However,... More

Egan's House was one of the best locations we've slept in while our trip which lasts three weeks. The staff was wonderful, unbelievable friendly and helpful at any time. Our room was really nice and absolutely clean. And beside this the mattresses where a bit harder and we loved that. There was no pain in the back in the morning.... More

Great place. I think the breakfast should be included on the service or do not charge the breakfasts you didn't take. Wifi at room was not so efficient. But excellent service and personal very helpful.

The hotel was clean and well kept, in a quite location but within easy reach of Dublin. The room was very cramped and small, the bathroom was rather narrow and there were no hooks to hang up your clothes or towels. The guest lounge was rather nice and well set out with comfy sofas and chairs, free wifi and free... More

Room was ridiculously small. Skip the breakfast. Of all places we stayed in over a two week period this was the only one we did not like. Very disappointed. Location was OK but if travelling to Dublin again we would stay closer to city centre. I left an item in the room and two follow-up emails after I got home... More

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good source of info and ideas. Guesthouse is lovely and clean. Breakfast is a must! Excellent bus routes to the city and airport. Easy to get around. Will go again.Dublin has so much to offer you could never be bored.

Our overall stay was good. The price is fair and you are close enough to walk downtown. Takes you about 20 minutes. Or you can take the bus. We were three people and our room was very very small. The bathroom was quite muggy and damp. The fan didn't work at all. No room to hang up towels for three... More

The place has a friendly group running it, and the customer service was nicely accommodating. The property itself is small and quaint, could use a bit of updating and maintenance. Breakfast was tasty and a nice variety. Not the greatest, but also good enough for a short stay, especially for tall people like us who struggle to fit into small... More

Within walking distance of the Botanic gardens,a close by frequent bus service, good breakfasts and helpful staff. We stayed for four nights whilst sight seeing in Dublin. It is in a quiet residential area. On road parking may be a problem .Suggest you confirm arrangements for parking when booking.
