We stayed in Egans House for three nights during our trip trough Ireland. It's a nice guesthouse in a good neighborhood. The room was very small and warm but claen and the bed was good. We couldn't open a window because it was ground floor on the street side. The breakfast was a buffet. Not what I expected, but okay.... More

I don't normally write reviews but i cannot rate this place enough , so accommodating friendly and helpful. Ok its not in the center but there is a bust stop 2 minutes away that takes you straight in to the center within 10 minutes , Taxi wasn't too expensive in the evenings neither, there was 5 of us staying in... We chose this B&B because we found the majority of B&Bs and hotels in Dublin quite expensive, we didn't think the location would bother us so much but in the end it's wasn't worth it. First off, we didn't book breakfast as we thought the price is quite high, so I can't comment on that. However, the beds were really... More

We knew it was a little further out of the city than our last hotel, but were surprised when the cab just kept driving. It's in a lovely neighborhood with some little places around, but if you are hoping to go back and forth to the city, this might not be the best place for you. The room was nice... More

I stayed at Egans House in May 2014 while visiting Dublin. The location isn't quite central but downtown Dublin is literally only a short 5 minute drive away. We chose to ride the double decker downtown and it was such a fun experience! The woman who worked at the front desk of Egans House was very friendly and helpful. However,... More

Egan's House was one of the best locations we've slept in while our trip which lasts three weeks. The staff was wonderful, unbelievable friendly and helpful at any time. Our room was really nice and absolutely clean. And beside this the mattresses where a bit harder and we loved that. There was no pain in the back in the morning.... More

Great place. I think the breakfast should be included on the service or do not charge the breakfasts you didn't take. Wifi at room was not so efficient. But excellent service and personal very helpful.

The hotel was clean and well kept, in a quite location but within easy reach of Dublin. The room was very cramped and small, the bathroom was rather narrow and there were no hooks to hang up your clothes or towels. The guest lounge was rather nice and well set out with comfy sofas and chairs, free wifi and free... More

Room was ridiculously small. Skip the breakfast. Of all places we stayed in over a two week period this was the only one we did not like. Very disappointed. Location was OK but if travelling to Dublin again we would stay closer to city centre. I left an item in the room and two follow-up emails after I got home... More

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good source of info and ideas. Guesthouse is lovely and clean. Breakfast is a must! Excellent bus routes to the city and airport. Easy to get around. Will go again.Dublin has so much to offer you could never be bored.
