We enjoyed our stay at Egans house. We had a room overlooking the road. It was surprisingly peaceful and we could see trees. The breakfast was good but the dining room was not large enough. When the house was full everyone seemed to want use the breakfast room at once. There were tvs in the room but you could only... More

Comfortable beds but no hot water, Ensuite was clean but toilet was not on arrival and not much interest when we informed staff. Thought it expensive @ 10 euro for breakfast when we were making booking so didn't book it. Handy for bus access to city centre. Wouldn't go back

After a time of sickness and laid up in hospital early this year, my husband and I decided to spend our summer holidays in Dublin again. We had been there for several times, and we were sure that it would be the best place for my complete recovery. What could be better than staying at the place you love the... More

I spent a few days at Egans House and I really enjoyed it. My room was nice and clean, with a convenient bathroom. There is a double lounge where you can sit for a while and meet other travellers. It is located in a quiet place, not far from the city centre. The staff is friendly and helpful, and does... More

We stayed in Egans House for three nights during our trip trough Ireland. It's a nice guesthouse in a good neighborhood. The room was very small and warm but claen and the bed was good. We couldn't open a window because it was ground floor on the street side. The breakfast was a buffet. Not what I expected, but okay.... More

I don't normally write reviews but i cannot rate this place enough , so accommodating friendly and helpful. Ok its not in the center but there is a bust stop 2 minutes away that takes you straight in to the center within 10 minutes , Taxi wasn't too expensive in the evenings neither, there was 5 of us staying in... We chose this B&B because we found the majority of B&Bs and hotels in Dublin quite expensive, we didn't think the location would bother us so much but in the end it's wasn't worth it. First off, we didn't book breakfast as we thought the price is quite high, so I can't comment on that. However, the beds were really... More

We knew it was a little further out of the city than our last hotel, but were surprised when the cab just kept driving. It's in a lovely neighborhood with some little places around, but if you are hoping to go back and forth to the city, this might not be the best place for you. The room was nice... More

I stayed at Egans House in May 2014 while visiting Dublin. The location isn't quite central but downtown Dublin is literally only a short 5 minute drive away. We chose to ride the double decker downtown and it was such a fun experience! The woman who worked at the front desk of Egans House was very friendly and helpful. However,... More

Egan's House was one of the best locations we've slept in while our trip which lasts three weeks. The staff was wonderful, unbelievable friendly and helpful at any time. Our room was really nice and absolutely clean. And beside this the mattresses where a bit harder and we loved that. There was no pain in the back in the morning.... More
