A group of 4 of us decided to stay at the Bridge House. It was cheap but that is what you got. Our hotel room was at an angle. You got out of bed and you would walk into walls. ( No this was not pint induced) The beds were awful. They put a matress of uneven springs on a... More

The hotel is well placed, close to the temple bar and to the old city. The hotel staff was quite unfriendly. Internet only with credit card. Shower wasnt that good. But the worse of all: the bed was a nightmare, with springs quicking everytime you move, and too soft, so that se had back aches the next day.

My sister and I booked a twin room at Bridge House for 4 nights. We were attracted by the cheap prices and very central location. The only transport we paid for on our trip was the bus to and from the airport. Everywhere else was close enough to walk which was brilliant. First impressions of the hotel itself were of... More

Okay folks, if you are visitors to Ireland, I would highly recommend you to bypass this really sleazy, filthy and faintly sinister little inn. My partner booked in over internet today, arrived at establishment at around 9.30, were immediately alerted by smell of secretions of bodies at bottom of stairs, arrived at reception and was informed by inscrutable goddess that... not worth your money... We had to drag our suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. The carpets smelled damp and moudly, the wallpaper appeared stained. Our room was small and no window. The only natural light was if the bathroom door was left open. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, springs poking into our backs all night. The room was very VERY... More

I was there for one week last summer (July 2011). The hotel is VERY well located, not very clean but acceptable for the price, extremely noisy (this is an old building, so I guess that's normal) some staff are very nice. The hotel is really close to everything so there is no need to buy those hop on hop off... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 night in June. We didn't have very high expectations because of the price but we usually stay in places around the same price and they've all been much nicer than this one. Our booking documents told us to check in at 2pm. We landed quite early so we wondered round the city... More

This place is cheap for a hotel in Dublin. However you have to compromise. The Rooms are small and dated, the beds are old. The bathrooms tiny ( I could barely fit into the shower cubicle and I ain't that big! There are no shampoos/soaps so bring your own! I think they probably should provide some tho as it is... More

Seriously, the building is falling apart! As soon as you enter one of the rooms you'll have the impression of a certain inclination... it's not an optical illusion, the floors are sloping and you will often feel like you have lost balance. If you look at the door of room 21 (top floor of the secondary stairs) you will see... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Excellent location - in the busy Temple Bar district, near to all the attractions, but for this reason noisy till early morning. Room rather small, functional TV in the room. Basic equipment, windows hard to open. Generally clean, bed linen and towels changed regularly. Tea/Coffee making facility and toaster available for free in the room behind... More
