This place is cheap for a hotel in Dublin. However you have to compromise. The Rooms are small and dated, the beds are old. The bathrooms tiny ( I could barely fit into the shower cubicle and I ain't that big! There are no shampoos/soaps so bring your own! I think they probably should provide some tho as it is... More

Seriously, the building is falling apart! As soon as you enter one of the rooms you'll have the impression of a certain inclination... it's not an optical illusion, the floors are sloping and you will often feel like you have lost balance. If you look at the door of room 21 (top floor of the secondary stairs) you will see... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Excellent location - in the busy Temple Bar district, near to all the attractions, but for this reason noisy till early morning. Room rather small, functional TV in the room. Basic equipment, windows hard to open. Generally clean, bed linen and towels changed regularly. Tea/Coffee making facility and toaster available for free in the room behind... More

The hotel appears to be falling apart. This hotel is NOT up to fire code at all. The rooms are basic. The TV is small and there was no phone or other additions to the room. The carpet is dirty along with the walls. The shower had to run for 10 minutes in the mornings to get hot water and... More

Stayed there 3 nights. Simple but good. Clean, free tea, breakfast available but way too early. On the edge of Temple Bar so a really good location.

this dump would pass Fawlty towers for a 3* hotel , where do i start ? the lousy bed , the dirty carpet , the handwasher aka sink in the bathroom , the cold water only shower , the electric wires hanging off the wall , the incessant outside noise , the bedbugs bites , the useless remote ( not... The room was clean, and in terms of comfort well you pay for what you get. My room was very cheap and it was just a place to sleep really. In saying that the room was clean and the shower worked fine. Our room was at the front of the building though so it was very noisy until about 2am... More

We stayed here October 2011 for 4 nights. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star hotels then don't book but for a place to sleep and rest your head it was well worth the money after a night dinking as the drink is expensive enough. The staff were very helpfull and the hotel was clean. Yes a bit... More
