We stayed at the Dublin Central Hostel for four days total--the staff was incredibly friendly and helped point us to points of interest. Only a ten minute walk to the Temple Bar area! Rooms were way better than expected--nicest ones I've been at a hostel yet. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for three nights and was a fantastic place, great location a five minute walk to the city centre, close to bus stops and the Luas line is only a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a private room which was really cosy and very clean. Also the kitchen area was just what we... More

The key to a new culture is its people. Here at this hostel you will find Ireland's best example of hospitality without hurting your purse strings. The whole four days staying here saw consistent genuine warmth from the staff with all the amenities anyone would need to have on a home to home basis. Kitchen's, microwaves, cooking and ensuites are... More

Friendly staff. Walking distance from everything. clean and comfortable. Unrespectful people where very noisy at night but that’s not the hostel’s fault. Free wifi everywhere. Free bed sheets and towels. Comfortable mattress Free breakfast is served in the morning including bread and jam, 1€ for hot drink unless you bring your own Private room is small but clean and with... More

I stayed at the Dublin Central Hostel for almost a week and really, I did not have any complaints. It had everything I could ask for. Ian was a great help and and even better source of information about Dublin. The walk was 10-15 minutes to Temple Bar (my personal favorite area in Dublin) which helped burn off the heavy... More

Our group of 4 stayed in a private room with our own bathroom. It was just okay. The bathroom is tiny and the shower didn't drain so you could only take short showers before worrying the shower would overflow. Our room had one double bed plus bunk beds. The hostel is a little far from the city center, so I... More

Not bad for a hostel although slightly disappointing. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Dublin central hostel for a weekend break and stayed in room 3 a private en suite room. The room itself was very pleasant although situated between a laundry room the reception and the smokers area which makes for quite a noisy location. In addition the... More

We spent this past New Year's Eve in Dublin staying for four nights at this hostel. We had a double room with a private bathroom which was very clean and we also got complimentary towels and free breakfast. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. As soon as we arrived the manager, Ian, explained us everything about Dublin and gave... More

This place is really great. It's cheap and I guess that's what attracted us the most. It's cheap, but they offer a lot -- it's located 5 minutes from city center, you get breakfast for free, wifi and the hostel is really clean. The staff is nice and very helpful. It's close to the city center, but because of its... More
