We stayed late August for 3 nights. The staff are friendly, helpful, kind and extremely welcoming. The rooms are clean, tidy and just what is you need. The communal rooms are a brilliant way of meeting and talking to new friends. A fantastic stay, I can't wait to come back. Thank you for making my holiday.

The hotel was slightly out of the city centre (15 minutes) although taxis are readily available and are not expensive. The bed was on the floor (no legs) so made egress difficult, and the room had no chair so it was difficult to sit down anywhere! No TV in the room, but the ensuite facilities were fine.

Most of our party - taking 4 rooms booked in here. Its so central ( no pun) to everything. Its a fabulous old hotel and holds all the charm. Staff friendly and we had a room for 4, plenty of space and tea/coffee facilities too.

The first time that I stayed here, I absolutely loved it! The staff is incredibly helpful, whether it be to answer questions or unlock the kitchen after hours so that you make tea. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms acceptable. The lockers are large and roll out from under the bed. However, I learned (after a second stay) that... More

We stayed at The Dublin Central Hostel for two nights during our Easter break in Dublin, paying €110 (approx. £86) for a double room with en suite. The hostel is located in a traditional tenement in a quiet side street, just 5 minutes walk from O’Connel Street and 15-20 minutes away from the river and the Temple Bar. This way... More

I was in Dublin, Ireland, on a sightseeing tour with three others. We stayed in a private room with a bunk bed and a double bed. The room was relatively clean but the bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean, but apart from that it was fine. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. All the beds were... More

We stayed in the hostel for only one night. Both girls at the reception were nice and friendly. The breakfast was very simple, but okay. We got a private room for two, and it was not so nice. The window was some kind of stuck, so we were not able to close it, the doorhandle at the shower was broken,... More

I really liked this hostel, the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is not having any lockers in the girls only room, and because the door does not lock automatically no one locks the door. . . so it really isn't all that secure. I just locked up my bags and didn't stress about it (I don't travel... More

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights on the top floor; private room with a double bed. The city noise woke us up a few times but you can't beat the price. It's a good walking distance from most things but we enjoy that sort of thing. Considering the prices in Temple Bar this place is worth going a... More
