Really enjoyed here. The staff were very friendly. Good food but somewhat expensive. Very pleasant surrounding and great door staff. Very accessible to all major amenties. Family especially my stepdaughter really enjoyed it.

The Montrose Lodge is a very nice B&B located on the suburban outskirts of Dublin very close to the campus of University College. It is run with graceful efficiency and charm by Helen M. I was there for five days while involved in a conference at the University and found it a comfortable and most pleasant place to stay, as... More

We loved the location out of the city centre but on a bus route to the city, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. Helen was a great host. Would have no hesitation in recommending and staying again.

I stayed in Montrose for 2 weekends whilst doing a course in Dublin. The B&B is spotlessly clean, the rooms are lovely with really nice furniture. The breakfast was delicious & the host Helen really hospitable! I can definitely recommend & will stay here again !

Stayed over the weekend early April. Easy access to the city centre via bus or a short walk to the DART. Quiet, clean and very welcoming. Helen is a wonderful host. Room a good size....very clean and very comfortable. Had a brief malfunction of the shower and Helen had a plumber in almost immediately to fix back to normal. Have... More

I had the pleasure to stay in Montrose 1 month. It was a pity I couldn't stay more. I felt as a home. Helen is really nice, She is always trying to help you as much as she can. The room was clean al the time and the kitchen too, as she is taking care everyday that everything is clean... More

Helen, the host, had been extremely friendly and helpful, frequently asking if things are fine. When I mentioned having some issue with the shower, she immediately offered an alternative room. The place is extremely near University College Dublin, so will be an excellent accommodation for anyone who needs to visit UCD for work or study. The surrounding is also quiet and... More

This is a wonderful place to stay if you have a conference at the University College of Dublin. It is right across the road (5-10min walk), where there is a bus stop to the airport and also to the city center. Coming back from the city center, one can take the bus 145 or 46A and get off at the... More

I stayed for about two weeks in this B&B. The place is very nice and cozy. Helen, the owner, is fantastic. She would go an extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The location is a bit out of the city center, so you have to take a bus along N11 (there are buses every 5-10 min. or so, and... More

My wife and I stayed at Montrose for 5 nights in July 2013. We found it very comfortable, clean and a very well maintained place. The hostess Helen Martin was very helpful and fully involved in the day to day activities of the place. She made us feel very much at home. Irish breakfast was sumptuous and elegantly served. The...
