We had a double room on the lower ground ('1st') floor. Nice, good-sized, comfortable room, with excellent internet access and breakfast options. Access to the city is an easy walk, and buses arent too far for accessing the zoo etc. Our only downside was the "wheelchair accessible" bathroom, which flooded when the shower was on, as it only had a... Our stay at the hotel was horrible. On the website they do not warn you that they have rooms which are on what they call a 1st floor and in reality is a basemant, one level below the entrance and the reception. These rooms have no special lower rate. The room was small and strangely shaped with no natural light... More

We reserved a triple room, mezzanine with a sofa bed to stay in Dublin with our 9 years old boy. We spent two quiet nights, Beds are perfect, bathroom was very clean and practical. Special mention for breakfast : everything is homemade, "comme à la maison". We ll be back. Only difficulty : to get taht triple room with mezannine... More

The Pembroke Townhouse was our last stop after a 10 day trip in Ireland. After having stayed in 3 other hotels, this was by far our least favorite. The reception and breakfast areas are quite nice. They were clean and had a fairly modern feel to them. The disappointment came the moment we stepped off the elevator on the 4th... More

I was in Dublin for work and found the Pembroke Townhouse an ideal venue for a couple of nights in Dublin. Plus points: not far from city centre and near Ballsbridge shops and cafes. Staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely drawing room with free coffee/tea/biscuits. Fabulous breakfast. Reasonable prices. Free car park for residents. Negatives: room hot and stuffy in... More

When arriving here with my boyfriend we were both impressed with the appearance and elegance of the outside of the building-a gorgeous Georgian buidlng with heaps of character both inside and out. The main lobby (reception area) and drawing room were beautifully presented offering tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits (nothing to shout home about but still pretty tasty and... Stayed here for one night and it was fine. There were pros and cons. Pros are location: Ballsbridge is a lovely quiet area and it's a nice walk into town; the building itself and reception rooms are nice and breakfast is very good as was the service that went with it. The free secure parking is useful. Cons were barely... More

Although it is a long walk to the city center, we had a wonderful stay here. The breakfast service is first-class, with some great menu items. The rooms were smaller than we expected, but this was our first stop in Ireland. Also, it was a good reminder that we should be outside enjoying the city, and not in our room.

We arrived early and were pleased that they allowed early check-in, and were surprised when they "upgraded" our room. Well, the room was weird... large bathroom, small room that was taken up completely by a king-size bed, and a narrow staircase to an upstairs loft with a couch. The upstairs was useless to us! The mattress was very uncomfortable, hard... More
