From some of the reviews I read, I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly suprised by the Pembroke Town House. It is a lovely Georgian architecture building near the US Embassy. It had easy bus access just up the road at Baggot Street stops for the 10 and 10A buses to the city center. Being slightly away from the... more

This is my favourite place to stay in Dublin. It is a perfect location beside Baggot Street and Ballsbridge where there is a selection of restaurants and bars. There is free secure parking at the back. Always clean and staff are friendly. Love the lobby area and there is no late night noise. Great value for money. more

Perfect location to get around town. Room was OK. Staff ok but not too friendly. The girl at the front desk in the evenings wouldn't even smile or say hello. Breakfast was good but the kitchen/breakfast room staff spent to much time talking in the kitchen and not enough time waiting on the guests. Good value but definitely not the... more

my advice on this hotel, is have a GPS trying to find this place, it is hard to find... There are about 15 steps you have to lug your bags up in order to check in at this place. Staff was ok and friendly. No breakfast included. They do not have bar in the hotel. Theres a restaurant but it... more

We stayed at the Pembroke Townhouse for two nights. Our first room was allocated on the third floor at the front of the property - what a nightmare! The passing traffic disturbed us all night. We asked the front desk first thing the following morning if we could move and we were moved without hesitation. The staff were very helpful... more

Dear ElizabethEngland, Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you felt the first room we allocated was not suitable for you, but glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. Maybe and hopefully, we will get to meet again. Best regards, Fiona

My son and I stayed at the Pembroke for four nights under their "4 nights for the price of 3" promotion. The staff was great. They made every effort to accommodate us, even allowing us to have breakfast late when my watch was off by an hour. The management allowed us to take our 4 nights in two groups of... more

I stayed at the Pembroke Townhouse for two nights after receiving a great rate booking through Expedia. The decor is quite nice and the hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood. My room was large, clean and bright, and well equipped. However, there were some details I found lacking. After staying at several B&Bs during the course of my trip... more

Dear Polarbelle, Thank you for taking the time to write, I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay. I do apologize again that there was a shortage of hot water one evening. We didn't realise we had a problem with the water time switch and were grateful that you made us aware of this. Thankfully, it has...

The Pembroke Townhouse was our first night's stay in Dublin after our long flight. We were delighted to find that it was not in the center of the action and was in a quiet neighborhood. Francesco was very helpful with giving us directions and restaurant recommendations. Our room was small but clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean but lacked... more

I booked a reservation with this hotel, and for passport reasons needed to cancel my trip. The hotel management was extremely difficult to work with and they are now in the process of charging me for the entire stay even though I gave them notice of cancellation on the day prior to arrival. I spent significant time on the phone... more

We are surprised to see this comment against us as this is out of our control. Please contact...

My wife and I traveled all over Ireland on our honeymoon and stayed at several different hotels and B&B's and didn't have a single bad experience. This "hotel" though was our least favorite of all of the places we stayed at. It was the most expensive of our accomodations but had the smallest room and was the least appealing. We... more

Dear Eltee1, Thank you for your comments - we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are a guesthouse rather than a hotel, so while we are homely and small, we do not have hotel amenities like restauarant/bar/leisure centre/ice machines, etc. - I am sorry if this was not suitable for you. Please can you...
