I stayed here for one night to go the Bruce Springsteen gig at the nearby RDS stadium. The hotel is very convenient for the RDS, though there a few bigger hotels that are closer. There also plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants. The room was a "superior single" - on the 6th floor, with a limited view from the window.... more

When I got here after a long day of travelling, I had to take my heavy suitcase up 15 stairs. I went to my room right away to email my friends and family to let them know that I had safely arrived but was asked for a password (even though they had advertised free Internet on the first page of... more

We researched this accommodation and were very encouraged by the reviews. However, upon arrival we thought that we were staying in a different hotel. We booked a superior double room but based upon other accommodation that we have stayed at (we travel frequently) we consider that what we experienced was a rather basic room to be found in a 3... more

I had a lovely time at this wonderful guest house in the heart of Georgian Dublin 4. It is close to many excellent pubs and restaurants and is only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Staff were friendly and attended promptly to my every need. I was delighted to find that parking in the secure car park was free.... more

I'm currently sitting in my hotel room thinking about canceling my remaining 3 nights here and looking for somewhere else to stay. First of all, the rooms are pretty small and the showers don't get very hot. This I can live with. However, what is a total deal breaker for me is the fact that they want to charge me... more

We stayed at the Pembroke Townhouse for 4 nights and enjoyed everything about it. The breakfast room is really lovely, sunny and bright with wonderful paintings on the walls. Our room had a large sunny window overlooking the street and the bed linens and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The lounge area is furnished with very comfortable sofas and chairs. We... more

We stayed at Pembroke Townhouse recently to have a night in town and had a very nice stay. Booked for one night, the location's great as best part of Dublin and far enough away from town so was very quiet - 10 minutes walk to Grafton Street. Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff very nice and friendy. Did not have... more

Lovely little hotel, good furnishings, clean and well looked after. Bit out of the way, however walking distance of city. Staff really helpful , friendly and professional. Good advice on eating, location services, sightseeing. What you sacrifice for location, you gain by the hotel being in a quiet spot without traffic noise, so a good night's sleep. Breakfast is not... more

Dear Hoteliers Wife, Thank you for your comments and spending the time to write on Tripadvisor. I apologize if we didn't explain fully our tea/coffee facility during your stay. We offer complimentary tea/coffee and homemade cookies brought at no extra charge to bedrooms or to the lobby lounge - we have a litte note in the rooms explaining this. We...

I stayed at the Pembroke Townhouse over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It is so nice to stay somewhere that has all the perks of a hotel but the friendliness and little touches of a family run B&B. The room was simple but perfectly formed, the room & ensuite were perfectly clean and I particularly liked the invitation to... more

The hotel was in a good location and buses were frequent and cheap which made it easy to get about. The hotel room we were given was the smallest double room and the view was obscured by a wall plus the lift cut into some of the room space and i wasn't impressed. However after asking the receptionist if we... more
