I booked my room last minute as I had a horrible experience at another place so moved to this hotel. It was so nice to be greeted by Patty who was really friendly. Then, the next morning to have a chat with Tom who was so kind and put in a tray with cereal, fruits, orange juice, yoghurt and a... More

We stayed in the Family Room, and also the bunk room when we asked to extend our stay. Both were clean and comfortable, and very warm which is important to an Australian family in November! Mark and Paddy were both very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a nice surprise - simple but a great way to start the... More

I stayed there for two nights, and didn't really experience any problems, which was really unexpected considering the very low price I paid. The room was meant for four people, but I was alone for both my nights, and that meant it was basically just a really big room. It had a simple en suite with a shower, a sink,... More

The staff was very friendly and inviting. This a family run business. Mark, his father, and Patty were great! The room was clean. My friend and I spent 3 nights in Dublin at the Tipperary House. I booked online not knowing what to expect. This is a budget stay and about a easy 20 minute walk from the Temple Bar... More

Great place right next to Heuston Station, the Luas tram and 747 direct from Dublin Airport. It is budget so the family room (double and bunk beds) is small, but has a TV and attached bathroom, not at all bad for the price. The big bonus for us was a great breakfast served by very nice, helpful staff, with tea,... More

we stayed here for about 4 days on our trip to Dublin, and it was perfect! Location is great! Easy to get to from airport, couple minutes walk from city centre, quick hop on and hop off onto the luas system and close to many tourist attractions. It really was great value for money and i will go back there... More

This is a good no-frills, budget hostel. Room was small but clean with free wifi. It's also next to the train/bus station and a short walk from several big sites, including the Guinness factory. Breakfast consisted of toast, cereal/granola, yogurt, and tea. Good value for the price.

This was an excellent place for me to stay recently. Travelling solo, and on short notice, the only bed available was dormitory style. No problem; and I got to meet some fellow travelers from US, Mexico and Ireland. Mark was very helpful in booking and suggested some great pubs, restaurants, museums and sites. Having the LUAS so close by made... More

We stayed here during the first weekend of october 2014 with a group of friends. Marc was really helpfull with organising the booking as we were with too many to book via Booking.com. Also when we were there he was really helpfull. The rooms are a bit run down but that was ok for us. If you're looking for a... More

So I had read the good reviews about this property.I also wanted to stay somewhere a little out of the city centre and knew the train station was close by as well as airlink bus and trams. As it is in most cities I tend to find it always difficult to find a place where its not impersonal and "in" and...
