The room was clean and cheap. It is dated but smelled fine and everyone was friendly. Since it was €43 we found it very suitable despite it being old. It's within walking distance of a lot of stuff. The shower is quite bizarre due to the at-the-tap water heater; it wasn't cold, but it definitely wasn't hot; it's suitable. Of... More

After being stranded at the airport for 24 hours we had a VERY hard time finding some place to stay that wasn't hundreds of £'s. We walked around for 2 hours and were prepared to go back to airport to sleep. We came across Durban residence to find they had one room left for £70. Our room was on the... More

The B&B was in a great location, a short walk from O'Connell Street and only about 10 mins walk to Temple Bar. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the beds comfy and it was handy having tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was served until 11 am on Sunday which was great after... More

Poor breakfast... there wasn't even milk. Fire alarm rang at 5:30 AM, apparently a funny joke for someone. Some very unpleasant people in the residence (not clear if other customers or member of the staff as they were constantly changing). Window not properly sealed. It was chilly at nights. Small bed...looked more like a trampoline. Location is perfect. The building... More

Durban residence was a great place to stay for a short visit in Dublin. The hotel was clean and nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, just 50 metros from the bus stop (Airlink)

We were hesitant about this place at first after booking before reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The room we were allocated was rather small and at the noisy front of the building. The manager reallocated us a room at the back and top floor of the building which was larger, quiet and very comfortable. Our bags were even carried up... More

Hotel was in a great location i.e. 15 minutes from Temple bar area. However the immediate neighborhood wasn't the best looking of places. Hotel staff are very friendly and hospitable. However the rooms are in serious need of updating and repair. The bedroom walls were peeling and severe damp in some areas of the wall. Although the website advertised a... More

I wasn't expecting much, based on other reviews. So no disappointments. Three start is because it's a very simple accommodation. Bed comfortable, nice to be able to make tea. No elevator, but the very pleasant young man who checked me in carried my rather heavy bags up the double-flight staircase - to the top floor - 3 long flights! There... More

It was still not fixed and we didn't get into our room until 10-45pm. the stair carpet was very stained but the room was... More
