Cathy was an amazing Host, and the location cant be beat for an arrival or departure day (or both as was my case). The grounds and home itself are beautiful. Rooms are very large with plenty of outlets, and from what I remember there were outlet adapters in at least one of my rooms. The en-suite is a decent size,... More

Spent 3 nights at San Juan Guesthouse. I did not have a car, so I used public transportation (bus) and the bus stop was a short walk up the road. The B&B is located 20 minutes outside of Dublin and 10 minutes from Malahide. Quaint little town. Getting around with public transportation was easy. B&B is Typical European size room,... More

We finished up a whirlwind Irish stay at the San Juan Guesthouse. It was a great choice. Cathy was the perfect hostess. The house was easy to find and a quick 5 minute drive to the car rental return and airport. The room was comfortable, complete with electric kettle and tea or instant coffee choices. The shower was a bit... More

The hosts were some of the kindest people we had the pleasure of meeting in Ireland and the house was beautiful. Breakfast was also amazing. The bus ride into the city isn't bad and it is very very close to the airport, so it's a great place to stay coming or if you have an early flight.

Great Location. As advertised about a 5 minute easy drive to the airport and if you want, it's about a 20 minute bus ride to downtown Dublin . ( exact fare please ! ) Our room was more of a suite and very comfortable, our Host and Hostess were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. A great place to... More

Thank you to our Hostess, Cathy. While planning the trip with my friends, we had only one night left back in Dublin before our flights home to the States. After searching many B&B's, with our travel agent we were able to confirm San Juan for one night. We know sometimes this can be an inconvience to the B&B's, to have... More

Wanted to make it 4 1/2 - rarely do I leave 5 stars. Wonderful hosts - Cathy's cooking was our intro to the Irish breakfasts we had heard about. For those who love a big breakfast, I counted FOUR different kinds of meat on the plate that first morning! And we had hear correctly - it took hours to finally... More

We spent our first three nights in Ireland at San Juan Guesthouse and it was a wonderful introduction to Ireland and its' wonderful people. Cathy treated us like she had known us for years and we felt the same way. The room was large and had a great view and the breakfast was excellent. We definitely will stay at San... More

Being lost Americans new to international traveling, we found Cathy and her San Juan Guest House very accommodating. She cooked huge, generous and tasty breakfasts and was most cheerful and helpful. When we go back to Ireland and want to stay near Dublin, we are booking with the San Juan again! Nora and Keith, California

After being in Ireland for 11 days, and having stayed at a different b&b each night, we had a pretty good idea of the range of b&bs and what they had to offer. We stayed two nights here. Cathy is always gathering information for her guests to try and help them out. She has lots of information for all destinations... More
