We arrived on Thursday Dec 3 mid afternoon after a week in Rome during the rainiest day of year followed by Gale force winds for two days. But this is Ireland, and it's always warm in a pub and always warm at Gerry's home. His home is wonderful, located on a major thoroughfare with great public transportation. The breakfast is... More

We just spent a glorious four days in Dublin and had the pleasure of staying here at Gerry's "Beech Lodge." Simply put, this is one is of the finds of the year, and a "must stay" next time we travel to Ireland. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was super clean, modern and quiet. Shower, superb! Towels... More

Gerry runs this bed and breakfast and his reviews are worthy of the praise. The atmosphere is very comfortable and Gerry is very professional. Upon arrival, he was able to offer us a selection of rooms which was nice. At breakfast, there are five or six options to choose from, plus cereal, muffins, etc.; overall very relaxing. Gerry was very... More

My wife and I stayed at the Beech Lodge at the end of August and due to work I haven't been able to properly sit down and write a review. Gerry was the utmost gentleman when we stayed with him. As stated in other reviews, as soon as we checked in Gerry gave us the run down of the bus... More

As always Gerry is the perfect host. His manner is welcoming and warm. The rooms are clean and inviting with subtle decor and homely touches. Breakfast is hot and served promptly. Better than any hotel. Access and parking are ideal when visiting Dublin. I highly recommend Beech Lodge as accommodation while visiting Dublin.

Wonderful B&B conveniently located just a few minutes outside Dublin proper. Gerry, the host, is very helpful and carefully explained how to navigate the city bus process, where to visit, eat, etc. in the area. Breakfasts were terrific, and the accommodations were superb. Thanks so much!

I could not be happier to add a review of this place. The owner Gerry is one hell of a nice guy and super accomodating. The rooms- excellent and the bed was the best we slept in over a 18 day Europe trip that took us to three countries. The choice at breakfast was perfect- for me I went for... More

Beech Lodge is in a great location with free off-street parking and 15 min by bus to city center. Gerrie is very helpful and friendly. He gave us a key when we arrived at 11am and had the room ready by 1pm (2 hours early), which was nice since we arrived that morning after an overseas flight. He gave us... More

Booking process is unprofessional; we emailed to request dates and were told they were available. When we asked what was needed we were told it was booked out for one of the nights. They offered to get us the final night in another B&B but who wants to move locations during a vacation? Extremely disappointed and hope this business gets... More

Hello Tiffany F The way you have reacted to this is a poor reflection on American people who I always find pleasant and well mannered, check my many other reviews, when you enquired I did have all dates but as I explained and apologised, other potential guests were also enquiring for some of the dates and they replied quicker than... Gerry was a great host and our room was very comfortable! He explained everything and was very detailed. Getting to the city was extremely easy on the bus. (Gerry explained how and what with the busses). We liked the fact that it wasn't in the middle of Dublin city. Close, but far enough away from the craziness.
