We spent 4 nights at Lynams in March 2014. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the smell of food coming from the restaurant next door. The reception and first floor smelled of greasy fried food, which was not pleasant. The rooms we stayed in (21 and 22) were small and tired with outdated furniture and numerous dings/marks in... Stayed here for 3 nights over st patricks day. Room was dirty. Bath towels stuck together with some suspicious yellow marks. Room not cleaned at all during stay. Overwhelming stench of grease from the restaurant below. The lounge was just an empty unattended room with a couple of tables and chairs. Would be put to better use as a bedroom... More

Stayed here with a couple of friends for the Ireland vs Serbia game in March 2014, and it couldn't be in a better location.. Abbey Street LUAS station is just up the road, as is Tara Street DART station. Jervis Street shopping centre is aslo just around the corner. As for the hotel itself, it was only okay and if... More

After reading some reviews I wasn't looking forward to my stay at Lynams Hotel, I read about dirty , cold rooms, TV's that didn't work, uncomfortable beds - on arrival the welcome was warm, the room was clean in fact you almost needed sun glasses for the whiteness of the bedding, the whole room was clean and lovely and warm,... Our stay at the Lynam's Hotel was extremely pleasant. Set on St Connell's street you are in the true heart of the city and only a ten minute walk from Temple Bar which doesn't seem to sleep! The hotel room was simply decorated, comfortable and clean. There were coffee/tea facilities which were replenished every day. We had a great nights... More

I stayed 3 nights at Lynams as I was working In the city centre and it was ideally located for me. I had a single room ensuite on the third floor. I found it to be very clean, the bed was comfortable and as it has 24 hour reception it was also secure. There was a lift to all floors,... More
