We stayed for 4 nights for my husbands special birthday. The room was clean, bed comfortable and plenty hot water. There was just a wardrobe and table but no chest of drawers.Sadly, the bed was not made on 2 consecutive mornings and the clean towels were just left on top of the bed with the duvet pulled over and the... Very central, great for shopping and public transport , the rooms are basic but clean, the bedding and towels were changed every day of our 4 night stay. The breakfast was good and we had the special in the evening which was excellent and a reasonable price, the bar around the corner called The Oval is a nice place to... More

The ceiling leaked when it rained on reporting this I was informed "it is raining rather heavily tonight." this was at 3am. The room was dirty and not... More

The best thing about Lynams is it is literaaly located in the centre of Dublin on O Connell Street. This means you have easy access to everywhere and it is a 2 second walk from Henry Street one of Dublins main shopping streets! Although the rooms are basic you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a cosy... More

The first room I was in on the third floor leaked when it began to rain. The girl at reception seemed shocked when I told her and moved me to a different room on the same floor. I only stayed two nights. On my last morning there I discovered bed bug bites! The worst part is I think they may... More

The room was dirty. No tea/coffee facilities provided as advertised. One hand towel provided for 2 people. The room was not cleaned during our 4day stay The ceiling in the room leaked when it rained. I was able to fill a quarter of a waste paper basket with rain. Drunks coming and going at all hrs of the night. The... More

Having read the reviews for this hotel I wasn’t expecting much. We purchased a deal on boards.ie for B & B with a steak on the stone dinner & a bottle of wine. We stayed in room 12 on the second floor overlooking O’Connell which was nice. The room was basic, the pillows were terrible. Having said that, the staff... More

What could have been a poor experience was salvaged by the commitment of the staff. The rooms are basic and some are poorly laid out. The bathrooms really need renovation to make them a good quality. It would have been better had the room staff made the beds each day and vacuumed the room instead of just dumping clean towels... More

You get what you pay for and the location was perfect, opposite a taxi rank, lots of fast food outlets and the stop for the sight seeing tours are across the road. Its minutes walk from Temple Bar. We didnt eat in the Hotel restaurant as there was plenty of other choice near by. The room and bathroom was clean... More

This hotel reminds me of Ryan air, cheap and no frills, the food in the restaurant was very good, we had steak on lava rocks which I was very impressed with. Accommodations is central and basic, was not impressed with the bathroom, needs alot of attention. Staff were helpful, Would not advise to drive to this location, as we were... More
