One night stay was quite enough, the TV was broken as in no sound, but the noise around is made up for it. The bath is dirty, no bulbs in 2 bed lamps, after we had eaten we realised we should have been given a voucher at reception to get 20 percent off which we didn't receive. So we didn't... More

We only stayed for one night that was more than enough. The room stank of a foul smell of musk mould and cigarettes (room 23) we were beside a generator so constant noise all night. room overlooking the bins in an alley down below with the noise of seagulls searching for food , old tv with one channel (utv) breakfast... There were three of us and we were given a triple room on the 4th floor for two nights. The room and the hotel in general smelled like (not entirely pleasant) cleaning products, but once we saw the black mould on the bath we started to wonder whether they had actually cleaned anything. Apparently they hadn't, at least not properly,... More

On first impression I thought ok this is going to be one of those hotels....cramped reception area, the receptionist gabe us the wrong floor for our room which we found funny. What we did not find funny was the fact we paid 121 euro for a pokey room with flithy carpet, no soap in the dispenser and the cherry on... More

I was first assigned to Twin Room and wanted to switch to Double Room as my girlfriend was joining me afterwards. Instead I got a Triple Room for 3 days and Double Room for a day. Overall Triple Room was large and rather clean, while twin and double ones were sloppily cleaned and used. Rooms are simple, only one electrical... More

Sadly the Lynam Hotel in Dublin needs some serious maintenance and updating. We were disappointed to see the room as it did not match the website photos. The painting was chipped with holes in the walls, mould on the bathroom ceiling and only half of the lights worked. We had to unplug the very small TV to boil the kettle.... More

I stayed 2 nights, my room was never tidy up, only towels were changed. First day I took a cup of tea, and the cup was not cleaned or changed. I had a good sleep quality. Lynam's hotel is in a good central location.

The best thing about this place is the location. If is an old place that needs new beds and pillows, but all in all it was clean. Bathroom caulk had lots of stains and mold. 24 hour desk protection. Ok for a few nights. Flanagan's next door and Parnell's around the corner are great foor stops.
