I booked this hotel in a hurry for myself and my teenage daughter - and then I read tripadvisor and PANICKED ! so I went to the hotel with a heavy step - BUT I was pleasantly surprised ! ok; so reception is tiny but who cares ! the three staff I met (two young women and a man) were... More

Holy mother of Devine God this place is a hole if there ever was one !! Ok it's on O Connell street but that's about all it has going for it . We booked a twin room on the internet and later realised there is No parking facility here so we had to trek a good distance in the rain... More

Probably the best part about this hotel was that it was right in the heart of Dublin across from the Spire. But this is a budget hotel, so expect to mainly get just a small room with bed and shower. At least breakfast and Wi-Fi was included which was nice. Breakfast selected is very limited though.

The only thing that this establishment has going for it is its location - any even then, O'Connell St isn't the nicest of locations but it is central. The hotel itself is a rundown, old shack if I am to be perfectly honest. I am from Dublin and the I stayed here as I was at a concert and rather... More

Lynam's is in a great location for visitors. Various city- and tour-bus stops, Connolly Railroad Station, grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs and central Dublin are all near at hand. The staff is attentive and friendly, and they'll keep an eye on luggage for early arrivals before rooms are ready. There's a perfectly good restaurant connected to the hotel, convenient for... More

One night stay was quite enough, the TV was broken as in no sound, but the noise around is made up for it. The bath is dirty, no bulbs in 2 bed lamps, after we had eaten we realised we should have been given a voucher at reception to get 20 percent off which we didn't receive. So we didn't... More

We only stayed for one night that was more than enough. The room stank of a foul smell of musk mould and cigarettes (room 23) we were beside a generator so constant noise all night. room overlooking the bins in an alley down below with the noise of seagulls searching for food , old tv with one channel (utv) breakfast... There were three of us and we were given a triple room on the 4th floor for two nights. The room and the hotel in general smelled like (not entirely pleasant) cleaning products, but once we saw the black mould on the bath we started to wonder whether they had actually cleaned anything. Apparently they hadn't, at least not properly,... More
