As everyone says you cannot fault the location but more could be done. No cold water in my room. No bath mat (nearly came a cropper after a shower). No remote for TV which only had 3 channels. Reception staff pleasant but their English is not wonderful. Breakfast chaotic and not very good. Good points - in room safes. Restaurant... more

My partner and I booked to stay at Lynams for a short break to Dublin, and got a special deal for 4 nights for the price of 3 - not bad for the location we thought! We saved a lot of money by being within walking distance to most of the attractions we wanted to see - 5 mins to... more

Me & my girlfriend had this place booked for 3 nights, to conclude our 13 day trip traveling the country. This place is horrible.. I read the negative reviews before going, but decided to give it a try... for the location. Well, we checked in and the room they gave us had old dirty red carpets, nasty blankets with stains... more

Only thing was the room could do... more

We booked this hotel back in March to stay for the U2 concert weekend. Upon our arrival, we were told that there was an electrical outage on two of the floors which, for safety reasons, they needed to move us to a sister hotel about 30 minutes away. We chose this hotel for location reasons, as it was within close... more

Six of us were booked into Lynam's Hotel on Sat 11th July. It was raining heavily and there is no car parking anywhere near this hotel so we were all soaked wet when we got there. Upon arrival we were bluntly told that we had been moved to a hotel in Dun Laoghaire which is a twenty minute drive away... more

The location of this hotel is hard to beat. Most of the main attractions in Dublin were within easy walking distance and the airport shuttle bus drops off right across the street. The hotel does have the smallest lobby I have ever seen, and left luggage is left next to the desk. Mine was there when I came back to... more
