We stayed here with friends for the weekend of the Ireland v England Six Nations rugby match. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, particularly Eimear who was particularly cheerful and helpful. They were able to suggest places to visit and good local pubs. The room was spacious with an enormous and very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had... More

On arrival we noticed a smell in the reception area and in the lift as though someone had been sick. In the room the safe was broken, the shower unit was broken, the sheets didn't fit the bed, the heating made regular noises throughout the night and the lighting very dark. Housekeeping closed at 5pm. All in all exceptionally very... More

We visited this hotel for the weekend of the Ireland v England 6 Nations rugby match and were made to feel most welcome by the excellent reception staff. We were given very helpful advice on where to eat, find live music, tourist attractions etc. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. There is a good choice of food at... More

What can I say, cold breakfast, the self service was never kept warm or topped up as it ran out, evening meal too, over an hour to do a basic bar snack, when it got to us it was burnt but cold, complained to the duty manager & she got stroppy & blamed us! Night one of our stay, loud... More

As others have said, this is more of a three star hotel than a four. Cons: toilet handle falling off the wall, horrible pillows, super noisy radiators, doors slam in the hallways so forget about sleeping in, the price per night was extremely high Pros: the location is great, the staff is friendly, the rooms are large

A really nice Hotel of very standards modern , spacious multiple facilities etc. Large impressive lobby, - lovely staff who were eager to help and advise. Goods sized bedrooms - we had a massive bed - about 6'6" wide and all the luxeries one could want . Next I will ask for a suite - just to try it out.... More

As we were unable to book the Davenport (where we have stayed before) we booked this sister hotel just beside it. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star but I would suggest its more a 3+ as it is slightly more basic than the Davenport. However I have rarely come across hotel staff who were so friendly and helpful... More
