This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Both were enjoyable experiences. The rooms are of generous size. Relaxing hotel bar with a good range of bar food. More formal menu in the restaurant. Live, quiet music in the bar on a Saturday evening. Free wifi. Generally clean and tidy place. The breakfasts are a bit bland,... More

We stay at this hotel regularly as we have family closely however this was our first stay since it became Maldron. We were not disappointed. Check in was fast and simple. It was busier than we've seen before due to Ireland playing Wales that weekend but that was fine, there was no queuing or anything. Every single member of staff... More

Stayed for 1 night for the rugby, outside city centre and suited us for parking. Ate in the bar, delicious food (recommend) - there is also a separate restaurant for formal eating. Bar staff were friendly, chatty and efficient - service with a smile which is always a great touch to any bar / hotel - also noted how well... More

The location, parking and room were great. No problems at all with that. We did not strange amounts going off our debit card during our stay. Even though we asked for no money to be taken during the stay they still took 100 from our card. When we questioned this they refunded it, but said it could take 4-5 working... More

We booked an advanced purchase for a double room through their own website which clearly stated that the full amount would be taken from my credit card before we arrived. We were working in Dublin until late so we only arrived at 1am. When we arrived the guy at the reception desk told us that no payment had been taken... More

Travelled from Kilkenny for a morning meeting in Dublin centre. Handy stop off at Maldron. Good car park, free! Welcome from staff on arrival in cafe. Complimentary papers and free WiFi while I had my coffee. At €2.75 for a mug, perhaps a bit more than I expected, but all things considered, good experience. Recommended.

The room was spacious and functional but a little noisy, it was looking out on the flyover of the N7. The breakfast was adequate but stale. The fruit bowls were mostly apple pieces floating in sweetened water. The scrambled egg was dry and the mushrooms were overcooked. The porridge had a burned taste. The restaurant was clean and tidy and... More

Arrived here after a long journey at 1am. Is the bar open I said, yes sir it is, good I said. Oh sorry sir it's just closed!! So much for Irish hospitality at this hotel. I didn't want a session just a Guinness. We could not leave fast enough in the morning.

Always try to arrange meetings in this Hotel (rather than stay in it) as it has separate lounge and bar/restaurant and is just off the M50. Service has always been grand and never had a problem with the quality of food either in the Lounge or the Carvery.
